There must be something serously wrong the way pilots are trained in iaf and navy.

I am sure india will top the list year after year of crashed planes without fighting a war.

Hi

Sir if you just looked around in the world Russia has lost one Mig 29 trainer, one su 34 and one tu95 caught fire in last four days.

And I don't have full insight in the investigation report of previous crash of a Dornier but I can confirm this that it was due to a storm in Arabian Sea.

This time of the year there are some very harsh storms in the south India, monsoon.

Its not a big issue.

Cheers
Thanks

I am sure that plan has crashed. I still hope crew survived the crash. Fingers crossed.

It was only 3rd incident since Dornier has been inducted in 1990.25 years of service.

The 1st was in 1993,a Coast Guard Dornier Crashed.
the 2nd crash was in March 2015,a Navy Dornier crashed.

Coast Guard operates 38 Dornier.
Air Force operates 40(14 more on order)
Army operates 26(6 on order)
DRDO operates 1

if you see the numbers,Dornier's track record is more than impressive.2 accident in 25 years while operating over 100 aircrafts.and nothing is wrong with pilot's training.

Hoping crew survies but plane is completely destroyed.

Sadly the aircraft flew over Bay of Bengal and there is no storm near any part of Tamil Nadu coast.

I am sick of hearing crashes every week. As a tax payer I am concerned.

Not again. Isn't this a second Dornier crash of the Indian Coast Guard in the last few months?

These guys fly pretty low..... Have seen it in few occasions.....

Hope they are safe
