QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri inaugurated Rescue 1122 service in Quetta on Tuesday. Twenty volunteers have been initially trained in Punjab Emergency Service Academy to work for 1122, reportedDunya News.
According to the details, Zahid Saleem, the Director General of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) briefed the chief minister and other high level officials regarding the project.
Talking to media after the inauguration ceremony, the Balochistan CM said that PDMA is fully prepared to deal with any kind of untoward situation in the province. He said that there will be no compromise on law and order situation and the rescue service will be expanded to the other areas of the province as well after Quetta.
Zehri distributed the keys of first five ambulances among the drivers and inaugurated by driving an ambulance himself.
