Close ties: Israel Elbit Systems on hunt for acquisitions In Great Britain despite Brexit.

iai is goverment company elbit private
Wow....I thought Elbit was government owned. o_O

Even more impressive to see it's privately owned.nice one.

What are you barking?

Everyone knows israel without western countries is nothing.
What are you talking about? Did you even read the articles I posted fanboy? Lol
Israel is instead transferring techs to western countries. You definitely don't know their contribution to western defence industry(even to the U.S).It's a two way relationship mate. Not a one way relationship like you backward countries in the region who have nothing whatsoever to offer.
Israel is the only country in the middle East with whom our defence giants can cooperate with technologically as almost equals. Since they have much to offer us unlike other countriesn the region.
There are several military projects where our companies gain valuable technological know how/input from Israel and we also provide them with some. it's a give and take Win-Win relationship.
I'm sure you know that but your blind Mullah hatred won't let you acknowledge it. Lool
I'm not surprised though, I don't expect anything less after constant Islamic propaganda. Lool

. .
Mullah boy, I know when you people hear about Israel you rush due to your radical Islamic propaganda and derail the thread because of your Islamist hatred of Israel. Can't blame you, since you will need decade to catch up with their tech and productivity. Lol.

How can you even mention Great Britain and Islamic state of Iran in the same sentence?. We are not in the same league dude.
Yes you have a bigger land and population and massive natural resources, yet Nigeria has a larger GDP/economic output than you people. LMAO.
I won't even be mentioning Britain and Iran, since it's laughable to even mention both countries together. We are not in the same league. it's like somebody from say Malaysia making fun of Japan. Lool

You should be comparing yourselves with your peers like Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia(who is also farrrrrrrr ahead of you economically) etc Normally you should should be at least as productive as Turkey, yet they are far ahead of you in both GDP/productivity and GDP per capital. In fact per capital wise you are one of the poorest countries in the middle East. Despite your massive oil and gas reserves (among the world's largest). So Iran is still underperforming massively indeed. Ok imagine where we will be if we had even half of your natural resources(same with Israel). :woot:
You are underperforming mate, so you shouldn't even be making fun of far more advanced countries. No wonder many Iranian youths who should be the future of the country are instead fleeing the country and claiming fake asylum status in Europe. :disagree: Lol
GDP-per-capita.png

Don't be surprise even poor Bengladesh might catch up with your home country per capital wise a few years from now:coffee::lol:
Poor english

When Persians ruled 1/3 of the earth and half of the population on earth you brits probably lived underground and in caves.

. .
iran want to be superpower :omghaha:
but to tell you what?
super power need to be good economy and that not iran situation

Oh, so since you have run out of what to say,now you resort to some illusionary past huh??lol

I will let you off the hook now though, since I can see you are cornered. I didn't mean to have a go at Iran. But your unprovoked trolling left me with no choice. No offence to other decent Iranian members here. :-)

Armed version of Watchkeeper (Hermes 450)
Looks good. I haven't seen it before. Never knew the watchkeeper had an armed version. I don't think it's deployed/operational though. Maybe still in the works/underdevelopment. Since I am yet to see it anywhere in our airforce/armed forces.

Do you have the specs for this bro?

Thales will be unveiled at Poland’s MSPO exhibition, their next generation of tactical unmanned aircraft system for the Polish Gryf requirement.

Based on the combat-proven unarmed Watchkeeper system delivered to the British Army, the WB Electronics/Thales solution will integrate its surveillance capability with a strike capability of the Thales FreeFall Lightweight Multi-role Missile (FFLMM) together on a single platform.

Commanders can fully understand and exploit their environment using the high-performance Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capability. In a fast changing environment, the solution can dynamically re-task to an effects-based capability allowing them to make faster, better informed decisions during critical target engagement.

Building on the partnership announced in July, the system will not only deliver the right capability, but will deliver the system through full partnership with the wider Polish industry. Polish industry has extensive expertise in building unmanned aircraft. Many Polish solutions, such as the FlyEye offered by the WB Group, are currently being used by the Polish Armed Forces.

Thales remains confident its Watchkeeper unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) will be successful in the Polish market, as the country reassesses its plans to procure a range of unmanned systems for its armed forces.

what about france neuron ucav

Just like our Taranis, it was an experimental stealth unmanned combat Aerial vehicle . The neuron is a European effort made of Germany, Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland but led by France's Dassault aviation.

It's from both BAE's Taranis and France's led Dassault Neuron that we are both developing a more advanced stealth long range unmanned bomber . Full scale development of prototypes is expected to begin next year. It's expected that it could even replace our Typhoons and Rafale in future by 2040s-50s. Since we nearing the era of stealth and unnamed warfare.

Britain and France will begin full-scale development of an unmanned Future Combat Air System (FCAS) that could replace current-generation European fighters in the 2030 time frame. The two nations will commit £1.54 billion ($2.1 billion) to the joint effort, according to an agreement announced on March 3.

The FCAS builds on Britain’s development of the Taranis unmanned combat air vehicle and the pan-European Neuron UCAV project led by France’s Dassault Aviation. Britain and France signed an agreement at the Farnborough Airshow in July 2014 to conduct a two-year feasibility study of the FCAS, which has been discussed as a potential far-term replacement for fourth-generation Dassault Rafale and Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.

The latest agreement was announced at a defense summit in Amiens, France, attended by UK Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande. Each nation will contribute £750 million ($1.06 billion) to the FCAS effort, according to media reports. The industry partners that will participate in the project include BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and the Finmeccanica Airborne and Space Systems division in the UK, and Dassault, Snecma and Thales in France.

In a statement issued during the summit, British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon said: “The Future Combat Air System project will give the UK and France the most advanced vehicle of its kind in Europe, securing high-end engineering jobs and expertise in both countries with full-scale development of prototypes starting in 2017.”

Speaking for itself and its partners, Dassault said it was “delighted at the two countries’ shared intention to pursue cooperation in military aviation, and particularly to launch a new phase in 2017 with the ‘scale 1’ development of a UCAS operational demonstrator. It is important to prepare for the future in the strategic field of combat UAVs,” added Chairman and CEO Eric Trappier.

BAE issued the following statement: “We welcome the announcement by the UK and French governments of a new £1.5 billion project to build a prototype of the next generation of unmanned aircraft. Today’s news builds further on the investment and technological capabilities BAE Systems has already developed in unmanned air systems over the past decade through a number of prototypes and demonstrators. Most recently the company and the UK Ministry of Defence invested in designing and building the Taranis unmanned combat air system demonstrator. Technologies from Taranis will make an important contribution to this next UAS development program.”

Fallon said he also secured a commitment by France to consider arming the next version of its Tiger attack helicopter with the MBDA Brimstone ground attack missile. He committed the UK to providing at least a couple of airlift flight a month to support French forces fighting terrorists in Africa.
