A similar attack occurred in January on Panjgur Airport in which VOR system was destroyed and two policemen were abducted.

CAA installations such as these and in the remote areas don't have lots of security around them. I have visited many such installations and surprised to find out the low level security. For instance, on this particular installation, only levis were stationed, not even Police or FC. What you expect from poorly trained and ill-disciplined Levis?

The building was cleared following terrorists encounter with security forces.

GWADAR (Dunya News) – A security officer was killed and another two injured in a terrorist attack on Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) radar building adjacent to Pasni airport in Balochistan on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
According to aviation sources, CAA radar building was attacked by 10-15 terrorists who later held CAA staff hostage. Terrorists continued firing in-discriminatorily for almost half an hour which resulted in martyrdom of a Levis officer and the injury of another two.
Aviation sources further revealed that terrorists also snatched mobile phones among other goods from the staff. District Inspector General (DIG) Gwadar Muazam Jah Ansari said that more forces from Gwadar have been sent.
The sources also indicated injury of terrorists during encounter with security forces. Searching and eliminating terrorists became difficult due to dark.
The building was cleared after encounter with terrorists.

Terrorists attack a radar in Balochistan

Balochistan- Miscreants attacked a radar installed one km from Pasni airport in Balochistan. Pasni Radar was installed to guide planes coming from west of Pakistan. According to reports, officials working on the station have been taken hostage by the terrorists.

NO it was just a attack. And after retaliatory action of forces they escaped. Heard it on ARY news 10 clock. Geo makes way too much of a mess. 1gaurd was killed.

I previously suggested Governor rule [throw current governors and bring in some retired or serving General] with tough military surgical actions across Baluchistan and Sindh this is the only solution. I am not sure how people kiss sindh's isharat ul ibad's arse when under his nose Karachi has no go areas with almost every neighborhood has many many gangs. For Balochistan the only finger pointing goes to ex-CJ iftikhar.
