Well, Christine Fair beat you to it....... she laughed out loud right in the beginning on being asked to speak about paksitan (when she asked about a single malt), in the 2nd minute; and you sat right through to it to reach 10 minutes?

Someone who thinks that a politician like Imran Khan is being paid by ISI and the hundreds of thousands who turn out for his rallies are paid off by 'agencies' cannot be taken seriously. Maybe she does need a single malt to think coherently.

Someone should ask all these so called "Pakistan" experts how much time they have actually spent in the country itself to claim qualified to talk about it? for me the talk was over in the very first sentence she uttered. how I describe her is Ignorant at best.

Yeah in summer of 2010. FIVE long years ago. The world has changed. Now she sits and rants from the United States, harping on and on about Pakistan from superficial knowledge gained from intelligence Data Sets that circulate among various intelligence agencies in the United States (she has membership to a bunch of intelligence related web portals).

These intelligence Data Sets are not necessarily based on HUMINT, they can be based at times on as simple as a single article published somewhere on the internet by someone with no credible information - and these Data Sets tend to be given various hues of political interpretations as they pass along the chain of command, administrative hierarchy, etc.

She is a very well educated person, but you can use your education sincerely and constructively or bitterly and polemically.

Then this happens, she gets schooled when she cannot even get history right

She's a 'has been'. As for ripples, things are going perfectly well as far as Imran Khan is concerned. Your comment is nothing more than pointless trolling.

ive spoken to one person (journalist) who know her well.....the woman was dumped by her former boyfriend (a Pakistani), she's an alcoholic and she's currently going through a divorce. I would question her mental stability.

Rand corp. thinktank expelled her. Now she's just an "assistant professor" at Georgetown Univ.

I guess she makes more money giving these third-rate speeches. Nobody in US govt. is receiving her guidance or advising (even Bruce Reidel is given some attention). She's just a nobody - except she does have bills to pay laugh:

The irony is she is probably the finest analyst of Pakistani affairs on the planet, every single thing she is saying is backed by quantitate and qualitative data she has collected over the years. She speaks Urdu, has lived in Pakistan has been there done that.

Ignorant is the last thing she is, those who call her expletives are the ignorant ones....
