About the title, USA as the strongest country in the world now, has the most advanced technique and also can buy technique from almost every countries. PLA only have a real develop in 15 years, like or not, have to learn the weapon design or tactical from USA.

China learn the way, but with very own style.

In my mind, there are 4 kinds of countries, all have their onw special weapons, but at the same time:
1st class, America, has ability and money to develop the most advanced weapon.
2nd class, have no money to develop the most advanced weapon, but only if get the idea, which was developed by like America and know weapon like this can do the job, then can develop very own version.
3nd class, with idea is not enough, have to have all the Drawing and maybe also some machine, and then can produce it.
4rd class, with all the drawing, still can't produce, can only buy the weapons.

About the photos, some are just coincidence. Some are technical verification and technical reserves. Some like the UAV, though China doesn't reverse engineering the American one, but after very own design, they find the American version is already the most reasonable and effective design. That's why they also choose this Structure.

China has imitated the U.S and U.S.S.R since the 50's

basically all it's military is based off of U.S.S.R designs and stolen U.S designs with some Chinese flavor to them.

so you can produce a better fighter than Sukhoi and can even make that cheaper? sounds like a fairytale. firstly, Sukhoi 30 is the best 4+ gen fighter of the world and secondly we can expect anyone but china to modify this fighter further. copying airframe when you cant even design a decent powerplant wont do.
