Chinese military mobilizing ground troops on the coast?

sigh, on topic:

use your brains and think about it. in a show down/war with japan why would china mobilize all those ground troops? what are they gonna do? sit at the beach and watch the fireworks in the ocean? in a war with japan large numbers of ground troops isnt gonna be involved unless we're talking about total war where the end goal is the invasion of the japanese homelands. on other hand, war sparking from the island dispute will be relatively short, vicious and nearly completely naval/aerial in nature. and why would the war go to fujian? this isnt a taiwan senario.

lol, you speak of brains.

Now, i dont know if this is true or in what scale it is happening, but it makes perfect sense to highten the alert level of infantry troops or mobilize additional personnel in those provinces where the majority of potential flights/outgoing ships will take place.

How this is not clear to you is beyond me.

Also, the diplomatic language coming out of China is very unusual. Common practice for them is to wait and see what happened and then comment, with this recent radar lock fiasco they outright denied it, not leaving any room for flexibility.

For decades the PLA logistics chain was primarily in the inland provinces, because coastal provinces were considered vulnerable to air strikes. Now PLA logistics is forward deploying to the coast to support airbases and naval bases when war breaks out in the East China Sea, Western Pacific Ocean and Taiwan Straits within the next 5 years.

When Type 081 is mass produced, then China has the capabilities to take control of Okinawa, annex it as a Chinese province and put an end to Japanese adventures forever.

Take control of Okinawa? (EPIC FACEPALM). Over 25,000 US Marine troops are stations there, plus it's is one of the main naval facility of the USN 7th Fleets (with USS Truman Currently deployed there).
