BEIJING: A Chinese government expert has questioned India's reported decision to rebuildits Special Frontier Forces (SFF) to cope with China's frequent military actions along the border. He asked whether reviving the SFF is a "practical solution" to the border problem.

Basing his comments on a news report, Ye Hailin, chief of the South Asia Studies Center under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that the decision to rebuild the SFF is India's internal affair, but the country should think carefully about whether this is a practical solution.

"China has no right to stop India's efforts. Likewise, its cooperation and exchanges with Bangladesh and Nepal need no consent from India," Ye was quoted in the state controlled Global Times as saying. The report was republished by the People's Daily Online, the Communist Party's main mouthpiece, on Wednesday.
Discussed the report about the SFF, the People's Daily said, "But experts have since pointed out that India should approach this task with caution". It also published a photograph of joint military exercise by Indian and Chinese troops in China's Yunnan province in October 2015.

This is among a series of objections raised by China against military decisions of several countries in recent weeks. It has opposed efforts by South Korea to establish a missile base along with the United States, and seized naval vessels being sent by Singapore to Taiwan. Chinese navy also seized an undersea drone operated by the United States navy before returning it on Tuesday.

The People's Daily report also said that SSF, which was establihsed after the border confict with China in 1963, was "the ears and eyes of India's frontier forces" and played a significant role in gathering intelligence from border areas and neighboring countries.

They will do what they have to, we will do what we need to. This unceasing "randi rona" (using the lingo of their higher than mountains deeper than oceans pal) is absolutely unnecessary and futile.

Not sure if Chinese can do anything other than complaining.SFF is done deal. China should concentrate on other interesting steps undertaken by few of its neighbors in last 2 months.

rebuilding .... did India ever dismantle SFF ???

Only stories of SFF were heard and no body actually knows who they are what they are. It is considered as an elite force and this decision shows the significance that's being given towards our eastern borders.

SFF will inflict serious damage when needed. No one know what they did elaborately. As it will remain as secret for ever. They adopt different strategies different roles from spying to sabotaging enemies movements. No wonder Chinese are worried with is development. India might expand this force level than now. As technology advancement in our capabilities will give much more power today than that of yesterday's

Basically a Tibetan card been played aggressively. Who will be better to get revenge against Chinese than tibetian people? Hope we create large army of SFF. And invite anyone who want to join the liberation war.

Where is @Han Patriot @cirr ?come and troll over here please.... These days you guys even overtook troll king like @Windjammer

Off course Chinese and Pakistanis are the culprits, you @#hydra# being an Indian are snow white, must be all those gallons of fair'n lovely you smear on your self.
BTW, tagging members irrelevantly just proves your desperation to sooth your tiny ego hence you deserve what you get.

Why one Chinese person's question made such a big fuss in India?

India reports Chinese incursions on almost daily basis, we really get bored about those reports, but I kind of like to know if India fights a two front war simultaneously against China and Pakistan, which front will India think being the main battle ground and put more troops into it?

I heard that their weapons are better then normal infantry units and got trained and have para training also ..... right decision they with ITBP really buld the capacity on Chinese border
I think it was not deployed near the border. Probably we are back to deploying them.

Obviously Chinese will object . they will be deployed in disputed territory . same as india objects over CPEC .
indian hostile nature suits us ( PAKISTAN & CHINA) it will give us the excuse to encircle india and conduct exercise for 2 front war and navel blocked etc :) .
