Chinese Defense Ministry says hacker attacks "public nuisance"
A spokesman of the Chinese Defense Ministry said Wednesday that hackers, junk and virus emails are a "public nuisance," adding China is one of the biggest victims of them.
Chinese laws ban any form of hacker attacks, spokesman Geng Yansheng said at the ministry's first regular press briefing when asked to comment on alleged Chinese military cyber attacks against another country.
He said the Chinese government always attaches importance to the security of cyberspace, and is firmly against any crime in this sphere.
