TAIPEI, Aug 10 (Reuters) - About 20 Chinese navy and Taiwan navy ships continued to stay close to the median line of the Taiwan Strait as of Wednesday morning, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters.

Several Chinese navy ships continued to conduct missions off Taiwan's eastern coast as of Wednesday morning, the source said.

Aye. there are photos and satellite images showing PLA vessel within 11km off Taiwan coast, and Taiwan press release is still talking about the median line.

It's funny how before this drill, the media puts up repeated articles decrying China entering Taiwan's ADIZ and try to equate ADIZ to airspace in misleading the readers. Now that the PLA is actually inside Taiwan's water and airspace, suddenly its all cricket...

The Western media:

China is a threat because of the ship near the Taiwan coast.

And...

China is a coward because it's just staying near the median line.

Basically, the articles are contradicting each other, but what is more important is the subconscious level of what the reader feels.
