The CNSA released new images taken by the Tianwen-1 Mars probe on the first day of 2022, including one group picture of the orbiter with the Red Planet, Zhurong rover on Mars surface and the Mars North Pole glacier.

【祝融号火星车累计行驶超过1400米】截至2021年12月31日,天问一号环绕器在轨运行526天,当前距离地球约3.5亿千米,通信时延约19.5分钟;火星车在火星表面工作225个火星日,累计行驶超过1400米。目前,天问一号任务正在按计划开展探测和相关测试,共传回约560GB原始科学数据,两器状态良好,运行正常。​

As of December 31, 2021, the Tianwen-1 orbiter has been in orbit for 526 days, and the current distance is about 350 million kilometers from the earth, and the communication delay is about 19.5 minutes; The rover worked on the surface of Mars for 225 Martian days and traveled more than 1,400 meters in total. At present, the Tianwen No. 1 mission is carrying out detection and related tests as planned, and a total of about 560GB of raw scientific data has been returned. The two devices are in good condition and operating normally.
