It most likely won't be a Type 052D. So far there's little change from Type 052C, we'd be lucky if its a Type 052C+.

Someone did mentioned that the new destroyer has a higher mast compared to the original type 052C.

btw it's LPD, not LSD (!)



edit(2:23pm): apparently the mast should still be the same high. Looks like they havn't modified the design in any significant way.

Just like the Type 054A+ was called the "Type 054B".

Also i.e. the San Antonio class is bigger at 24900t
