I have seen this side of Chinese. I know it is entirely wrong to stereotype but most Chinese I have ran into are very hard working, very mannerly, law abiding, very entreprenueral and driven by temporal needs. I have seen Chinese female students working in the most difficult of places just so that they can have better iphones or gadgets. It is this lust for worldly goods that is driving their incredible economic performance.

On the other hand Chinese I notice worship the West, not in the political sense for they see the west as a rival. No, they love the West for it's culture and style. This is shown by Chinese preferance for Caucasians. This trait can be seen in Japanese/South Koreans who spend lot of money buying 'Caucasian' features.

In time the Chinese will be 'Western' in the cultural sense like the Japanese or South Korean already are. The Chinese unlike the Japanese and South Koreans will always be politically opposed to the West because they will harbour superpower or in fact 'hyperpower' status at some time in the future. This inevitably will bring friction with the USA/West.

The Japanese and South Korean already are in the Western camp, the Japanese are so 'tight' with the American's that is it difficult to figure where USA shadow ends and the Japanese starts. I don't think there is any country that has such powerful economy as Japan that is so beholden to USA.

Edit: Why do people use images of beautiful girls as avatars then you find they are males. Very disconcerting because in your mind you start assuming that is a female only to be shocked that is is a male! Most disconcerting.

funny article. Bu to be honest i dont find anything new/surprising in it. I know from personal experience havng been to several Asian countries that they still look up to/have an inferiority complex towards we whites. I was quite shocked to find out how easy it was to get a chick during my many journeys across Asia, honestly i kind of heard they hold we whites in very high esteem, but never knew it was to this extent. Anyway, i think it will take a longggggg time for them to get over the 'white man' hangover. Untill then we should keep enjoying the status the offer us over there to the fullest.

Agree competely with all what you said. I too found it quite surprising to see that even wealthy/developed countries in Asia like Japan and south Korea still have a kind of worship/looking up to we whites. That was the most surprising thing i noticed, since i thought it will be mostly pesent in poorer/developing countries like China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India etc . Guss its not so much to do with wealth/living standards, more like an image/cultural thing IMO

Well I must say its unfortunate for me(during my journeys in Asia) , since I don't really fancy Asian girls that much, kinda too skinny/small for my liking. Im More into mixed race (black/white) and Latinos girls (and to a lesser extent blondes).

NB:Asians in general often look down on people with dark skin.
