it requires long term detailed analysis what effect space travel has on astronauts

it takes years of mental and physical studies to ensure these people return just like they left

thats pretty insulting to the taikonauts and i guess i expect better from a "think tank" member.

these people are the elites of the elites and there is a very long line of people who would drop everything to take their spot. and many of them are no less qualified. its absolutely stupid that you would think they would force someone who dont want to be there to take on such a monumental task.

Soviet Union never doubted US claim of moon landing, this is perhaps the biggest proof that they were real. It still is incredible that NASA achieved the feat over 50 years ago which despite all technological advancement till now nobody else has managed to do.

Soviet Union never doubted US claim of moon landing, this is perhaps the biggest proof that they were real. It still is incredible that NASA achieved the feat over 50 years ago which despite all technological advancement till now nobody else has managed to do.

The Soviets thought it was pointless to keep spending the resources on their own moon landing after the Americans got there first. They had a program, but cancelled it after Apollo 11 landed. Also, I was referring to the skeptics amongst the “common public”, not leaders in countries.
