What's new

China's foreign trade for 2018 already exceeds 2017, jumping 15%

Ban here and there, notice something, business goes on. Do you know how big is the trade? The US cannot afford nor willing to see a chaotic China, they want a technologically and militarily constrained China. Stop hoping for China to go kaboom...because you guys had been hoping for it for decades. What happened? Despite all the sanctions, all the bans, our military grew stronger, if US is no 1, I DARE SAY WE ARE NO 2. Don't push your luk lil poodle, a destabilized China will invade Vietnam willingly to unify the people under a common cause.
ha ha.if u try to believe your usless/corrupted PLA and your economy making money by exporting goods to US is No 2, then keep believing like that, we dont care.

And keep wishing US will not destroy CN, it can not change what will happen in real life any way, just like yours wish can not stop US spreading chaos to Tibet

China's commercial banks' net profits to grow 7.1 pct in 2018: report

Source:Xinhua Published: 2018/12/15

China's commercial banks will post sound performance in 2018, with their combined net profits likely to grow 7.1 percent year on year, the Bank of Communications forecast.

The lenders' combined net profits may reach the highest level since 2015, according to a report released by the bank.

The report predicted that the commercial banks will continue to see improvements in profitability in 2019, and their combined profits may rise between 5 percent and 8 percent compared with this year.

The banks' non-performing loan ratio is expected to remain below 1.9 percent this year and stay under 2 percent in 2019, according to the report.

It said as the country stepped up opening up in the financial services sector, an increasing number of overseas financial institutions and investors will tap into the market, and there will also be more domestic financial institutions going out.

There is nothing to believe in, if it isn't making money, we wouldn't be where we are today and you wouldn't be so panicky about our rise right?

It's just common sense, if we lose money exporting, we would be BANKRUPT? :enjoy:. It's not in the interest of the world nor the US to 'destroy' the world's second largest economy and market. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Russia didn't get 'destroyed', the economy was in crisis due to a different production system, but ultimately, Russia is still there, weakened slightly but still a superpower. :D

my friend, do u realize that Russia pplation is just abt 150 million while Cn is 1,4 billion and " potential rebels" in HK, South CN is very rich ?? US try to stir up Russia by supporting Ukraine and Russian rebels to sell weapons but the profit is not enough.

Wt ppl of 1,4 billion like CN, US can make billions of billions in selling weapons to Cnese rebels ( exile Tibetan, TW supporters in mainland CN ), so US gun seller will try their best to spread chaos to CN to make billions USD in selling weapon

You don't need a billion ppl to create rebels, Afghanistan and Syria is a good example. Population has nothing to do with stability, economic and political stability has. As long as China's government continue the good work and improve, people won't rebel. I am not saying this will not happen in the future because every action has a reaction. It's like market economics, you suck, you die. Vietnam government on the contrary is weak in execution, no long term planning, did not create any domestic champions and highly dependent on low level manufacturing. That's a recipe for disaster in my opinion.

South China is very rich, the more accurate picture would be deltas, you need to view China as deltas. Pearl, Yangtze and Bohai rim, with a new cluster around Chongqing. These are the majority rich cities in China. I don't understand your English of 'sell weapons profit not enough'. If my understanding is correct, you are saying US can't support Russian rebels because weapons sales is not lucrative? Well, US had never been supporting rebels based on weapons sales, they support rebels due to geopolitical interests. It seems you are not really aware of how this works. Abit ignorant in my opinion.

I told you, the stability of China is imperative to the world economy. You cannot decoupled CHIMERICA. You need to know what is the intention of the US, the intention is to contain our military and technological advancement, while subjugating us to a more docile economic role of producing low level products and consuming their higher level products. The reverse is happening now, their big corporations are consuming our products, essentially sticking their label on Chinese products. You might argue they earn more profit, but China does not look at this, they care about the industrial chain, supply chain, if US could diversify their supply chains, they would have done it long ago. You can open an assembly line in Vietnam, but the components all come from China, you get the picture? The cluster effect, the supply chain.

Exactly.

It's why relatively smaller players like Realme can just pop up (they separated from Oppo a few months back) and suddenly release a batch of dominant products. Because they are located in Shenzhen, right at the heart of the largest manufacturing base and supply chain network in human history.

That's the strategy of China all along, Deng was a genius.

1) Keep low profile, no wars, no agitation, appear pacifist so they invest
2) Use the market power to attract them, make them think they can exploit your market
3) Ask them to come in as jvs, use market force to force them to transfer tech. Whatever not transfered, use the 863 program to research basic technologies or enabling techs as the foundation. Beg, buy, steal, transfer, whatever it takes.
4) Repeat this iteration for 4 decades
5) You get CHINA. Now after sucking all the tech, skills and industrial chain, we have to innovate. That's why now you see 5G, Quantum tech, nanomaterials, graphene, etc

You can't stop China. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

"US can't support Russian rebels because weapons sales is not lucrative?" tks, thats what I mean.

CN is US main target now, I understand that u guys keep wishing US will not destroy CN, but its bcs CN living under US's mercy and ptotection for so long ( since Soviet-Sino conflict till Trump won the election ) so u think US wont destroy CN while the whole world know that US will try her best destroy CN cos CN is trying to topple US in economy.

Before 1979 the industrial chain, supply chain in CN were almost Zero and Demg had to came to JP and invited JP to CN to teach u guys abt it. So, when US wanna move the supply chain to other countries like VN, she will tell JP-TWto teach VN. so easy to do. CN just learned from JP-TW, u guys didnt create those supply chain.

US just passed the law that allow exiled Tibetan to spread serious chaos to Tibet and million exiled Tibetant r so eager to get weapon support from uS to mess up CN now. So, keep hoping bad things will not happen to CN, keep hoping US will not destroy CN, Im happy to sit and watch what will happen to CN in 2023

Dude, you need to chill. I don't need to wish, it is not possible to 'destroy' a fifth of humanity, the world's second largest economy and market, in real gdp terms, it's the largest. We don't just trade with US, and US is not the world. Our companies are everywhere, the day we internationalize YUAN was the day the war really started. How long do you think the petrodollar can alive? US is pissing off all the OPEC and major oil producers with shale oil, the LARGEST MARKET is now CHINA. It's the other way round actually, when will we destroy the US dollar trading system? You start dumping US bonds, then force sales in Yuan, the whole US dollar trading system will crumble. US is pushing us in this direction, but we are not ready to do this yet, as the effect would also be disastrous to us in the short term. So you need to do some critical thinking, if it was possible US would have done it already. Sanctioning ZTE and HUAWEI was a desperate move, they are closing their markets to JP and EU as well. Electing Trump is already telling you they are desperate. You can't print dollars$ forever you know, sooner or later it will reenter the US system and screw up inflation. We are their levers for controlling inflation, do you get it?

That's what I just said, we will do anything to succeed. We didn't just beg Japanese, we begged everybody to come. When they become entrenched in our country, we control their supply chians. You don't get it, making toys and plastics is not the industrial chain bro. You are just a low level center for assembly, the portion which we want to dispose off ultimately with automation. It takes decades, and don't forget, we have our own captive market, you don't have that luxury.

US just passed the law that allow exiled Tibetan to spread serious chaos to Tibet and million exiled Tibetant r so eager to get weapon support from uS to mess up CN now. You must be pretty ignorant about the 60s.:rofl::rofl::rofl:. The younger Tibetans are mostly sinified and saw the progress in the cities, they want that now. You think Dalai Lama can fill your stomach and buy you a XIAOMI?

More likely is that the conflict will occur the same as before, on Vietnamese soil. :enjoy:
Xi is very silent militarily, geopolitically, it would be smarter to send our carriers and troops to Syria for 'training'. But now he is making Russia the US enemy, biding our time. Our aim is to win wars without firing a single bullet. After spending trillions and thousand of dead soldiers in Afghanistan, who is going into that hellhole now? CHINA. You do all the hardwork, we come in, build infra, create a new market, develop your resources.

ha ha. Keep hoping my friend. u try to believe CN is "world's second largest" while the world see u as just a fat pig and its time to slaughter this pig to get money. Except some poor countries, no one else respect CN ( CAD arrest Huawei, UK/France etc ban Huawei, SK set up THAAD system to watch all PLA move despite CN anger etc ). So, dont keep shouting CN is "second largest" no one give a damn care ha ha

ha ha.OK u control Jp-TW supply chain, but they r just US's dogs and they will move the supply chain to VN when US tell them to move or they will face wt 25% tariff and higher plus CIA will come and kill them.

You must be pretty ignorant about the 60s.:rofl::rofl::rofl:. The younger Tibetans are mostly sinified and saw the progress in the cities, they want that now. You think Dalai Lama can fill your stomach and buy you a XIAOMI?
ha ha. u only know abt Tibetan inside CN, while u dont know what exile Tibentan in US can do.They can hire million "rebels" around the world to stur up Tibet. See in Syria, many " paid rebels" coming and fight as long as US pay them well

More likely is that the conflict will occur the same as before, on Vietnamese soil. :enjoy:
VN is small country. US dont support Vn rebels because weapons sales is not lucrative and the rebel fight suck, too. VN war prove that. So, US dont invest in the thing that they know its a loss again for sure.

No I mean that when China gets back into a period of open warfare, the first fight will be with Vietnam over the South China Sea, because the Philippines is now friendly to China, so their territorial claims there can be put on the back burner.

ha ha ha. I told u already. coward/ corrupted PLA can not fight without support from JP-US like in 1979.

Btw keep believing in your fantasy PLA, dont post useless thing here.Just tell me when PLA really have the guts to attack VN again. ( remeber that CN had a very good reason to attaxk VN in 2014 conflict)

China's foreign trade growth to remain stable in 2019: report

CGTN

China's foreign trade is expected to remain stable in 2019 as the sector exerts more growth potential amid external challenges, according to a foreign trade report released by the Ministry of Commerce.

The quality of the sector could be further lifted with sound economic fundamentals, greater opening up and policy support, the report said.

High-quality development of China's economy has laid a solid foundation for its foreign trade, with greater domestic consumption expected to inject new impetus in import growth.

Consumption has contributed 78 percent of the country's economic growth in the first three quarters of the year, and a 400 million-strong middle-income group of consumers are demanding more imported high-quality goods and services, the report showed.

In terms of opening its door wider, China has signed cooperation agreements with more than 130 countries and international organizations on jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, and sealed 17 free trade agreements with 25 countries and regions.

The first China International Import Expo (CIIE), which was held in Shanghai in November this year, attracted more than 3,600 companies with participation of over 172 countries, regions and international organizations, an important step in opening up China's market.

Favorable conditions for China's trade sector also include a raft of measures on trade facilitation and tax incentives for domestic trade companies, according to the report.

China's goods trade rose 11.1 percent year-on-year to 27.88 trillion yuan (about four trillion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months this year, a value exceeding the total foreign trade registered last year, the General Administration of Customs said earlier this month.
