China urges world to act on promises to Afghanistan

What about the return trip back to the US ? I dont expect stamps of both Pakistan and Afghanistan on a pakistani origin individual to bode well with the hawks at immigration.

So what I got nothing to hide lol but yeah they will probably question me. However I am not 100 percent sure bout Afghanistan just asking.

Security is fine after transition to ANSF - a year before we had explosions almost every couple of weeks in Kabul but this year Alhamdulilah there were 2 or 3 failed attacks many of them arrested before action - it's the same in other provinces as well you may remember that north was also a Taliban stronghold but after series of operations by ANSF they have completely abandoned north - west is free of Taliban and the Taliban home Kandahar is more secure than Kabul today - the places you should not visit is east Afghanistan where all Taliban have gathered (Zabul, Paktika, Paktia, Khost, Wardak, Logar, Nuristan).

That is good I would not be traveling alone which is why I would be concerned about security in Afghanistan. Nice to hear you guys captured South Afghanistan a couple years ago when my cousin returned from war he said there were a bunch of no go zones in South Afghan!

I would like to visit but how is the security like? I am planning a trip to Pakistan, Afghanistan would be a nice bonus.

I was there in 2009 for almost a month, its not all that bad. I did have armed escort though!

South was cleared in 2011 by NATO and ANSF before transition, this year I had 2 visits to Kandahar had a lot of Kanhadari Anar. Now east is south for Taliban hope they accept peace or be killed like other parts of Afghanistan.

In 2009 US was in brink of total defeat Taliban had presence in majority of Afghanistan you remember those reports of 70% Taliban control? that was because of Bush's Afghanistan abandonment and his focus on Iraq!

If I need armed guards there is no point of going! I would not be able enjoy the trip with People following me everywhere.

He was there before 2010 and yeah Bush was a monkey looking fool who acted the part just as well.

Lol you don't need guards as long as you are there on a private visiting and not working for any international organization.

I named Zabul above but see there is hope in those places as well, today's news from Zabul:

Zabul Taliban militants adopt peace - PakTribune

 Well it was a work related trip for me, hence the armed escort. But as Sher Malang said 2009 things were quite bad, and even then i never felt threatened or insecure.

My Afghan friends and colleagues now visit Afghanistan every year, they say situation is much better. And the Western parts feel like a different country all together as far as security situation is concerned.

No they are the leadership who are being released they are not the fighters.

Regardless if they say fight the low levels will pick up guns again.

Forget everything and just change your avatar bro. It is like I am talking to that clown.

I have heard that the green-on-blue attack is now emerging as a new threat for ANSF.
Are there any preparations about it?
