China unveils [side-by-side] two seat design for stealth plane based on J-20 fighter

The article is probably talking about the JH-XX and likening it to a side-by-side twin seat J-20.

This would imply that JH-XX might not be an actual bomber but rather an early warning / target tracking command center.

Is JH-XX a CAC project? If there has not been any confirmation so far, maybe this article is the first clue that JH-XX is a CAC project.

while most people here seem pessimistic about an AWAC variant of the J-20, personaly I wouldn't be surprised at all if this time Minie Chan's article does actually come out true. I mean think about it, nowadays regular AWAC may be vulnerable to stealth aircrafts armed with very long range A2A missils so in that case the AWAC aircraft itself needs to be stealthy & currently the cheapest way to do it is through a variant of the J-20.
