China tries to 'smoke out' infected citizens

I grew up almost half of my life in the UK and Germany and never seen anyone using the word "net" for internet. This term comes from South Asia and an Iranian girl I dated used this word all the time so I thought they use it there too.

lol, whatever you say mate, the term is used in Australia, NZ, etc as well, lol but anyway carry on.

OMG!! That was wicked..

You caught the guy with call back statement.

This guys is seriously out of wrack, it's not hard to expose people like these.

All you need to do is just to look for it.

People in Australia do use "net" a lot, but most people call them "interweb" instead of internet. Don't ask me why....

Well, the down side is, not only the virus don't like the body temperature to elevate a few degree, a human brain don't like it too, so basically what you are saying is one giant game of who die first, the virus or your brain?..

Brain don't like it when the temp raise up to a little about 42 . viruses don't like it when it's above 38.5 and by the way anybody with temp higher than 40 must be admitted have no business treat himself with otc drugs.

True, but again, virus cause other things such as respiratory tract congestion, bronchitis, leucocytosis (if the immune system is compromised) and pneumonia.

So my answer is the same, it is just about to see who die first, your brain or the virus.

the drugs that are banned codeine, ibuprofen and aspirin only relief symptom they treat nothing in case of respiratory infection. they don't prevent pneumonia.
now if they withheld mucolithic drugs like bromhexin or guaiphenesin then that would have been worrying for me

You mean prevent Pneumonia or prevent the viral infection? I don't know how you can prevent pneumonia. But bromhexin only relief symptoms of pneumonia by clearing mucus and guaiphenesin is a cough stimulant. Which help you cough out mucus. I don't see how they prevent pneumonia. You can maybe say both help prevent the viral infection become more problematic, but I mean if pneumonia is not yet developed and you are previously healthy. The two will just make you want to cough with a dry throat, if I still take in the virus, pneumonia will still develop...

Also, there are no way other than avoid physical contact or enacting physical barrier to prevent the virus infection.

both of them help to clear airways and sinusses and reduce chance of secondary infection . while codein only supress cough that only made patient feel better but wont make any change in outcome ,it probably make outcome worse by preventing the clearing of airways.

Would not say for sure as I have not read any scientistic fact about how clearing sinus to reduce chance of secondary infection. That's because while virus can present in respiratory tract but they can also present in lung tissue, and just by clearing sinuses may or may not help.

And I am guessing you are the group of people saying fever is good for you, but if you think treating symptom is actually worse off then let them have it. Then again, my answer to that would be going back to, that is to see who die first, the virus or your brain?

I said treating mild fever is not beneficial and a patient with sever fever and condition must be treated in hospital and I knew it as its my job

The man who came up with this idea is a genius without doubt. As we all know, cold medicine can not really heal anyone, its function is only to suppress symptoms. Trying to cover up symptoms is likely to lead to more infections. I have heard similar reports of taking cold medicine that suppresses symptoms, causing the whole family to be infected.

Hope this measure will be extended to the whole country.
