China-South Korea free trade deal worries Taiwan

It is you who have to prove such a law/rule exists. show us the Rule or accept you are wrong on facts

Stop playing around and show me the "rule" or just do not reply.
Members are reading so they know who has to prove what here. Come on show us the claimed rule

Leave it, I do not want to be too harsh, let's just agree that there is no formal law/rule exists but informally PRC pressurizes other countries to stay away from FTAs with ROC

Agree, there is no formal rule. But there is a rule. That's why I specifically said "not possible without China's consent." That's, of course, informal. If formally, Taiwan will reject such a proposition. Many stuff that relates to Taiwan is done outside the formal framework (Track 1.5, Track 2, Track 3) due to China's political squeeze.

I am not sure if Kolaps is a satirist or just being retarded

I guess he is on a character-suicide mission against his own self. Pathetic.

:cuckoo:

It's not a suicidal comment.

It's a well thought writing, inline with the Taiwanese finest.

Politicians, people representatives, economy experts, educated journalists, etc...

If it's a suicidal, why did Sunflower movement leader dare to reject free trade with mainland?

And then he get award from one of the East Asia best university, Taiwan National University?

Do you think the professors idiot?

Now, just rethink again what Kolaps said above... :smart:

Who is the idiot here now? :omghaha:

Having too much caffeine lately?

HTC should be taken down.

Because it's the main reason why Taiwan should have a FTA with China.

HTC and the whole Taiwan mobile phone industrial complex.

Then, according to the great plan....

Taiwan will became an extremely rich country, with extremely high living standard.

And the world most perfect democracy system, world most envied!

Just to update you and other members-

There is no such rule as any country that sign an FTA-like agreement with Taiwan must have already signed an FTA with Beijing
India-Taiwan FTA: The economic organizations in both nations completed their feasibility studies and negotiations are to start soon
New phase in Taiwan-India ties - Taipei Times

There is already a FTA between New Zealand and Taiwan in place

Taiwan is also in negotiations with Indonesia

so, stop boasting about the bold part

None of the above markets even if combined is as important for the Taiwanese as an FTA with China where we have identical diaspora and much bigger consuming power and middle class :coffee::cheesy:

I can understand Kolaps too. I find it really entertaining to read the Chinese member's reaction lol, ready to throw their panties at him. Their sarcasm-radar is totally broken lol.

@Kolaps is the most patriotic, most pro- china, most anti-west, most no-nonsense Chinese in PDF. The most wisest, most respectable, most traditionalist, most Confucist, most Buddhist Chinese ever. :yay:

Only the wise can decrypt those words and understand @Kolaps!!! :agree:

China already has ECFA with Taiwan which opens up pretty much every non-security sectors, although Taiwan is favored by a greater number of sectors opened up to it in China.

The point is to update it with services agreement. But, even without that there is tremendous interaction between the two.

Yes I know these my friend
The purpose of "free-trade-agreement" is to lower or completely remove tariffs and trade restrictions for the signing parties
But has the free trade service agreement been cancelled by Taiwan after the violent "Sunflower" demonstrations? :-)

awww..... really? Well as much as it sounds really nice/cute, im afraid to say that wont happen anytime soon, not until China and Japan have solved their issues/differences(since they are the two biggest/powerful/main players in Asia, all the other small countries are kind of secondary), and we all know its a difficult/if not impossible task for Japan and China to resolve their differences and unite/partner together, for one the U.S is the dominant power in the region as well, so that wont happen anytime this century.lool. And im not even talking about the problems/disputes/rivalry/resentment other smaller countries have among themsleves from Malaysia/Singapore, to Vietnam/Cambodia-laos to India/pakistan-bengladesh to Indonesia/Australia, to Vietnam/Taiwan/philippines and other cliamants/disputes which i might have forgot. The region is just too divided/saddled with disputes, and i dont see how this can be resolve peacefully since every country is trying to sort things out on its own terms/benefits.

The 'Evil west' threat as you tried to point out is just secondary to all these. Since these countries themselves already resent/hate each other, so we dont even need to do much to be honets(apart from maybe just encourage/cheer them sometimes to keep it up.lool:D). So we cant divide you people if you are not already divided to be honest(but we can help you people be divided more though.). Saying Asia for Asians or a united east asia/Asia with all due respect is laughable at best this decade.century. The upstacles to this are as tough/if not tougher than wishing for a United Africa to be honest.:bounce:
