China, silent on Imran arrest, backs Pakistan Army as ‘defender of stability’

Come back to Pak to join the fight on the street if you actually have balls, you think anyone take you seriously when you can only talk shit from 10000km away hiding like a pvssy?

I already assume most Pakistanis here are western-influenced ones whether they live in the country or not. I said something earlier in the IK arrested thread and got instantly deleted and a warning, there are a whole bunch of oversea Pakistani chanting for armed rebellion there.. PDF is NGO in disguise if you ask me.
Given the record of North Korea and Myanmar Pakistanis are keep you and your internal advice at a distance

Short enough for a democratically elected leader to take credit from, preferably within his first term. So something looks dashing and can make the money back quick, like a football stadium.

Investing in roads and bridges however takes about 30 years to get the money back, not only are they terrible investments from a business POV, most political leaders would also have no interests pushing these projects forward.

power generation plants should be profitable from day one. Otherwise do not invest

Ditto with roads and bridges in a country with 220 million people

Looks like Pakistan is going to become another Afghanistan or Libya pretty soon.

If Imran Khan has got the full backing of the U.S. (And it looks like he does now, going by the operations on social media), then expect provocations to continue until they get the U.S. to sanction Pakistan, followed by civil war.

Juan Guaido (Imran Khan) is about to destroy Pakistan.

RIP.

You don't understand the situation.

The election of Imran Khan as Prime Minister has the support of the United States, and the Pakistani military also believes that it is easier to manipulate him.

The Americans thought that Imran Khan would overthrow CPEC and attack China on the Xinjiang issue, but Imran Khan did not do what the Americans expected.

Imran Khan, who has had conflicts with the military over anti-corruption and military personnel arrangements, has become a scapegoat for Pakistan's poor economic situation after the pandemic and floods.

Before the U.S. military withdrew from Afghanistan, the U.S. needed Pakistan’s assistance. Now Pakistan is asking for U.S. help. The relationship between Pakistan and China cannot be changed, so Pakistan cannot get close to Russia.

You say that as if all parties cannot be U.S. puppets at the same time, like Somalia or Sudan.

Pakistan always looks for the easy money from overseas grants instead of fixing the domestic economy.

Imran Khan is clearly not a candidate that is going to fix the economy, as shown by his performance.

This geopolitical stuff is really not as important as the dumpster fire that is the economic setup in Pakistan.

Pakistan Army is the cause of instability. Forgot how they've pulled this country to an economic, moral and political default?

China knows these shoes eat money and drink visky. They cannot walk straight themselves.

.
China should side with the people of Pakistan and not with the army or corrupt politicians. You are not stupid, I know you know who are the good guys and the bad guys. Make your decision carefully because there are consequences to every decision.

China isn't going to do anything.

They will deal with whoever is the incumbent at the moment.

If the U.S. manages to burn Pakistan to the ground, they will try to go the Afghanistan to Iran route.

Imran Khan started off as an Army Establishment project to get more free money from the U.S.

He seamlessly morphed into a Juan Guaido-like figure the moment he lost support from the Army Establishment.

Given that he was always loved by all western media the entire time he was in the public spotlight, it's simply crystal clear now what he actually is.

Also, economically, he was a far worse leader than his predecessor.

He printed money with urban residential real estate subsidies of all kinds and stopped work on development.

This is the cause for the hyperinflation that is happening in Pakistan today.

He then tried to take credit for the fruits of the development done by the leader before him.

Anyone who knows how to read economic data can see how Imran Khan was an abjectly terrible leader in every economic respect in comparison to his predecessor.

He showed exactly as bad of a current account deficit curve as the government before his, but made that current account deficit with handouts and money printing and urban residential real estate subsidies instead of the development projects of the government before his.
Free money from US? that has never happened, there's always a quid pro quo and even that's come to a halt as of late. There's only quo, no quid from colonial masters.

Try to read up a bit before posting hindutva online university garbage.

As I've said before, Imran Khan is a failure on all levels, the reason he was installed into power (burn CPEC to the ground to try to get free money from the U.S.) was never fulfilled.

His stated reason of wanting to at least slightly fix Pakistan's economy was never fulfilled.

That's why I'm completely puzzled why anyone supports him at all.

The U.S. supported all sides in Somalia and Sudan, how did that work out for those countries?

China's foreign policy is not to get involved in the internal affairs of its friends.
China is friendly to Pakistan, not to any particular political figure. As for Pakistan's internal choice, it is the choice of the Pakistani people, and China will not take a side position.
