Why keep on fighting instead of spending money on education, housing, environment protection, development and so on.

I hope Vietnam be China's best friend, we look exactly the same, similar culture and political ideology and shared memory.

I go to a Pho restaurant near my home weekly, and have haircut by a Vietnamese uncle monthly. I never had any issues with them in person.

The Vietnamese uncle give me a cigarette for free when I went to his shop every time, although I had quit smoking for many years, I will smoke with him and have a nice chat.

Personally, I think Vietnamese are very friendly, humble and good manner. I don't see any difference between Vietnamese and Chinese(we both speak English)

I told u guys many times that after 2014 conflict, most of Cnese in VN now r very cute, no more problem, many Cnese investors r in VN now to avoid 25% US tariff.

Interesting thought, I believe the majority in China have the same wish. however I don’t think we can be ever best friends, it’s not that we don’t want to, or you don’t want to, but we don’t share the same world view despite sharing the same culture and custom. Best thing is we keep both status quo and equidistance. Vietnamese and Chinese are more like Jews and Arabs.
