Liang said China spoke highly of Qatar's active role in safeguarding the unity and promoting the cooperation of Arab countries and appreciated its adherence to the one-China policy and its support to China in the international arena.

Recent years had witnessed the development of friendly cooperative relations of the two nations and enhanced military ties, Liang said.
