Our wildlife security personnel in NE are permitted to shoot people down to protect our endangered animals. Yes, you heard it right! We have been doing all we can to stop this menace, but till their is demand for the same from China all such measures would be insufficient.

My gripe with you guys is the same as @Gibbs . You guys did everything in your power to stop poaching in your country, that's well and good, but in the process you actually encouraged animal smuggling from your neighborhood countries. Only way to deal with this menace is to curb demand in your country of the foods/medicines that make hunting down animals elsewhere necessary.

You should tell that to HK and Taiwan.

That may well be the future. But why is it not ok to eat what we rear.

I don't see it any different from growing a crop and eating it.

Livestock consumption is totally fine.. Humans are omnivores.. The problem arises when consuming exotic wild animals, With pathogens humans naturally wont come across, Livestock through millennia of breeding have made safe for human consumption

probably cos the chinese government knows that covid-19 did not come from wildlife.

Sars did not come from civet cats either.

Nor did Mers came from camels.

none of the coronaviruses above came from animals(the original animal-borne variant did).

America should remember that what comes around, goes around.

You know, OP, I'm going to pretend you're not the worthless troll you are and give your silly trolling a serious response because it raises an interesting point. All societies seem to have a quota of bullsh*t, a certain amount of nonsense that people believe. It's sad that we can't have perfectly rational and scientific societies, but it's a fact of life. Societies like yours have Abrahamic religions, which on the whole are far more harmful, pernicious, and destructive than anything that Chinese people believe. China has "traditional Chinese medicine"; as irrational nonsense goes, pretty harmless.

And just as China has been successful in stamping out COVID-19 within its borders, it will also be successful in wiping out another far more dangerous plague from its lands
