Anywho, PRC lays claims to territories well under the sovereignty of other nations, like the paracel islands, spartley islands, almost all of south china sea and Yellow sea as its EEZ, Aksai Chin, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, etc. Tibet was once an independent nation (Middle kingdom BS notwithstanding) and invaded and annexed by PRC by 1959! Tibet was part of the Qing Dynasty. the PRC is the successor state of the ROC which was the successor state of the Qing Dynasty. The ROC also claims tibet but was too weak to enforce law in that region. The Yellow Sea is China's internal sea. Indeed, Tibet has been a part of China longer than California has been a part of the US or Sikkim a part of India. In fact, Tibet was part of China before Britain took over India, so indeed, it is better to ask GOI to return India to Britain, that is the real question.

Its like saying, since Mauryan/Gupta and Maratha Empires encompassed the entire lands which now comprise of parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, and considering British India encompassing then Burma, BD, Pakistan as the successor state, present day India (successor to British India) can lay claim to those lands?
