BEIJING (Sputnik) – The brigade is said to have been deployed in the Daqinq city, the Apple Daily newspaper reported. Another brigade was reportedly deployed in the city of Xinyang in the central Chinese province of Henan.

The third missile brigade is going to be deployed in the northwestern Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, according to the newspaper.

The DF-41 may carry up to 10 nuclear warheads and hit targets that are up 14,000 kilometers (about 8,700 miles) away from the launch site.

Means full spectrum missiles ranging from 1000-14000 km. Russia India US . And rest of the world. More secret silos and missiles placed all over China! Possibly. That shows mass production capabilities and survival of Chinese missiles nukes. This must alarming for all. Russians learnt their lesson with Hitler. That how expansionist will never be trusted. Time to steer up east Asia with new nuclear powers. And missile powers. Japanese need to rethink on their nuclear weapon strategy. Vietnam need to take lots and lots of measures and help from India and Russia.

IT'S DF41! Does location really matter? LOL

China-Russia has high mutual political trust, that's exactly why ICBM can be deployed in so north, need a brain?

To respond the thread properly could use only 3 WORDS 'SO TM WHAT'.

I help you to understand Chinese missiles deployments.

Target at north America: DF-41 14000KM deployed at NE. JL-2 deployed at nuclear submarines.
Target at western Europe: DF-31A 11000KM deployed at Xinjiang.
Target at US bases in Japan/Guam: DF-26 or DF-21 2000-3500KM deployed at any provinces.
Target at India: DF-26 3500KM deployed at Tibet or Qinghai

Guys don't be too clever... Total command consist only of one type of missile? DF41 took the lime light .

DF41 launched from higher latitude sites (Heilongjiang, bordering Russia) cut some distance to US, most important of all it makes any US THAAD positioned in lower latitude Korean peninsula useless.

Yeah, bro. We have too many counter measures including DF41.

SK accepting THAAD posed threat only to own security and then it's economy. WS series rockets of SHANDONG,LIAONING AND JILIN are enough to deal with the THAAD system's hardware.

But the most important thing is that we need to put some resources to counter the THAAD system's radar. So some percentage of GDP for the budget becomes rational and more huge radar stations bordering NK and SK(sea) is needed to be constructed.

Yankees trick they keep playing is to create chaos in the region and improve their control over it's allies, sell arms. The so called 'strategic threat' is limited but then our opportunities to heavily improve intelligence system of Bohai渤海 and ECS. US want THAAD to protect their bases in SK and JP, our DF41 now in up north targeting their homeland bypassing THAAD.

LOL

Of cause China will depoly their ICBMs mainly in NE China, since it require the shortest distance for a ICBM to cover US there, which means much larger payload for a given ICBM.

And the exact reason why China dont put much efforts of SSBN is just like this: near China, all sea are too shallow to accommodate large SSBNs, however, for any SSBN to launch SLBMs to cover US, it will require much longer range than land-based missiles due to geo location limitions, so SLBMs has to be very long ranged with low payload, and to accommodate such SLBMs, yet SSBN has to be oversized despite of all the shallow water around China coast, so it kind of pointless for China to spend much money on SSBNs.

China is now spending a lot on the SSBN and SSN, since the PLAN is getting a lot stronger to cover and to protect those strategic submarines.

If it is DF-41 and the location is Heilongjiang, then the main aim will be US. If it is deployed in Inner Mongolia or more western province, then the aim will be Europe. Cold war time missile against USSR is typically stationed in Central provinces of China, such as Sichuan.

Also, the shortest missile distance from China to US is crossing the Arctic ocean. So it make sense to deploy the missile in Northern provinces.

China need not justify its budget increase. If ask, Chinese leaders should ask them to question the number one debtor nation's military spending of 700 billion USD per year.

MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Moscow does not regard China’s deployment of inter-continental ballistic missiles near the Russian border as a threat, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

"We do not regard China’s efforts to develop its armed forces as a threat, and even if this information (about the deployment of intercontinental ballistic missiles near the Russian borders) is true, we see no risks for our country," Peskov told the media.

He recalled that "China is our strategic ally and our partner in political, trading and economic terms."

"We appreciate our relations," Peskov said.

Earlier, the daily Global Times said China had deployed its most advanced inter-continental ballistic missiles DF-41 in Heilongjiang Province bordering Russia. The daily said images of China’s newest weapon system were made public in the Chinese segment of the Internet on Monday. Some media speculated the publication of the photos might have been timed for the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.

The three-stage solid propellant ICBM DF-41 (Dongfeng-41, also known by its NATO reporting name CSS-X-10), was designed by China’s Academy of Rocket Motor Technology. It is presumably armed with a multiple warhead consisting of ten to twelve independently targetable reentry vehicles. According to various estimates its maximum range is about 14,000 kilometers.

Ah yeah, almost forget the financial weapons.
The world is becoming strange. The debtor pose military threat to one of its largest creditor.

What a robbery mentality and behavior.

Great! Now I await for news of next gen. ICBM, will PLA continue to DF 51 or maybe time for new name? :china:

I hope those hypersonic type atmospheric skimmer will be deployed next.
