Y-20 Performance is better than Russian-made Il–76
November 5, in the aircraft industry anniversary of the establishment of a media conference, the aircraft industry aircraft, said Hu Xiaofeng, general manager, “Our independent research and development and production of military aircraft will be by the end of 200-ton large aircraft manufacturing company in Xi’an appearance. ” According to reports, this large, China’s largest military aircraft, from R & D to manufacturing all of the Central West, flew corporate aircraft industry alone.
Western media have speculated that China’s large military transport aircraft development program around 3-4 years ago. Because China uses a unique new technology, its large military transport aircraft and is close to international advanced level. China’s future large-scale military aircraft of the Russian Il -76 reference to the design of transport aircraft, but China’s aircraft larger, more carrying capacity, electronic equipment is very advanced. In addition, analysts believe that China’s large military aircraft also made reference to the C-17 “Globemaster” transport aircraft are designed in part. In power systems, the first possible D-30 engines, and then will use WS-18 engine, or FWS-10 engine improvement model.
At present, China’s large transport aircraft and large-scale aerial platform, primarily for the Russian transport aircraft Il -76, but because of the Russian aviation enterprises not operating properly, often fail to deliver on schedule. As early as the end of 2008, the United Kingdom, “Jane’s Defense Weekly” once revealed, China in September 2005 ordered 34 transport and IL -76 IL-4 air tanker -78. The aircraft is supposed to produce in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Russia in August 2006 decided to produce to Ulyanovsk and Ulyanovsk production line until December 2010 only after completion. China-made large aircraft, military R & D success will completely reverse the situation of large-scale aerial platform to be controlled by others.

the first one is not computer generated rather its a model of Y-20 ,the aircraft has not been officially inducted thats why u may not see actual pics for a while

Given that it's based on more modern technologies, better performance is what should be expected of it.

Good news!:smitten:
Design a huge plane like this isn't very difficult for Chinese engineers. Because we had designed and built some big planes called"Yun 10" about 30 years ago. Yun 10 was a usefful plane, we manufactured 5 planes for test. One of them had flown all over China, even Tibet. But the project was canceled.
If we have enough big planes, when the earchquack happen again, we can send more parachutist and support more material immediately.
That absolutely is a good news for the people of China.

Actually, when I was still studying economics at UBC back in the 70s, Shanghai was big and perceived as a technological savy metropolis in Canada. News reports indicated a race between the Yun-10 and A300 from Airbus. Though, the Shanghainese program was eventually cancelled due to foreign pressure. Boeing's condition for ToT was the abolishment of Yun-10, so as to eliminate China's capacity to "replicate" foreign aviation technology, and was supported by the United States government in hopes of detering indigenous Chinese military aviation developments.

China accepted the conditions and reduced funding to the program, instead of cancelling it outright, so as to not induce nationalism and labeling Deng, as a avaricious traitor by trading the future of Chinese aviation technology and industry, for cash and commercial support. The results were at large in American favor, as demonstrated by China's inability to produce any dual use large military transport/passenger planes, until today, and in the immediate future.

In terms commercial technology, it is much more cost efficient to keep up with your competitors than to catch up. Hopefully, you guys can produce a passenger plane with Western turbofans as soon as possible. That would be a safe and inexpensive flight solution for the world.

well we are making A.C, and lots of things if i am not wrong and yes in future we can make if MOD think they need

Unfortunately we do not have resources to make such aircrafts, If You are having MRTA in mind, then let me say its a joint venture with Russia.... China is well Ahead in this...

Yes , Help is still needed for us..... We are making pretty tiny aircrafts like RTA-70,NAL saras.... But for bigger aircrafts like these, to be built by ourselves, we need better Infrastructure and Better management...

Lets stik to the topic..... What role does this aircraft play??

.
why don't Pakistan try to make its own

We have made may jets but they mostly fly at night and need fuel "joint" before they could fly.We call them Jahaz here in Pakistan.

You might also want to suggest the same to India as you have recently purchased some globemasters from USA
