China literally painting mountains green to fool environmentalists

There you go squirming like a worm when you get caught in a lie. You had no problem using it when you thought you could twist it for your little story.

What do you mean squirming? I knew exactly that is was a government story. Are you saying the Chinese Government posted a story about a local government painting a quarry area green with oil paint (which was simply re-reported by SerpentZA) which actually was a complete lie?

So people screaming here in this thread that SerpentZA is a known liar should just chock it up to being duped by the usual FakeNews™ stories written by the Chinese Government?

Quit playing dumb, you know exactly what lie you were caught in. Using the government site when you thought you could use it support your fake story, then pretending it’s no longer legitimate when people started poking holes in it. You’re exactly like an Indian scammer that got caught, pretend to not know anything.

LOL!!! What fake story of mine? I just posted an article by the Chinese Government. I didn't write it.

The only part I wrote was
"This isn't your excuse of "keeping the dust down"."

What part did I write that you think is not what the Chinese Government article said? Or are you just saying the Chinese Government writes fake stories and I reposted it knowing full well they lie all the time and are not trustworthy.

article from china.org.cn
"China Internet Information Center (Chinese: 中国互联网新闻中心; pinyin: Zhōngguó Hùliánwǎng Xīnwén Zhōngxīn; or 中国网 / 网上中国) is a state-run web portal of the People's Republic of China and published under the auspices of the State Council Information Office and the China International Publishing Group.[1]

Its editor-in-chief is Wang Xiaohui, who also serves as a vice minister of the Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party"

Residents Seeing Red over Green Paint

A barren hill among forested mountains beside a highway is green in Fumin County in southwest China's Yunnan Province; however, it's not green from plants, but rather from paint.

The strange green hill glistens in the light of the sun. Though the color of plants, on closer inspection, one finds little vegetation, but rather a coat of green paint.

The hill is called Lao Shou and is located in a forest reserve. It used to be a stone pit but was closed for disturbing villagers nearby with its noisy machines and dust from stone particles.

"A dozen painters spent more than 20 days painting the hill last summer. Large quantities of oil paint were used," a villager was quoted by a Kunming-based newspaper Metropolitan Times as saying.

The villagers told a journalist that they hoped the local government would plant trees on the hill after closing the stone pit. They were quite confused when later they found some painters setting out to work on the hill with airbrushes.

The painters said they worked for the local forestry bureau. Apparently, the hill was painted green because of its location opposite a newly built office block for the local government.

It might have been a quick fix for inspections by superior officers, the villagers said. The local forestry bureau had no comments, but the awkward project has aroused criticism from local villagers.

The villagers accused the project of being useless and costly. It cost several times more than planting trees on the hill, they said. Some of them even felt dizzy at the smell of the oil-based paint.

Experts say that maintenance of the painted hill will result in further costs as the green paint gradually erodes. Meanwhile, the oil paint contains pollutants damaging to people's health.

Stupid analysis because it will be much cheaper to plant an area then paint a mountain and maintain it as well

Yes, but according to China's own Government media outlet they decided to paint it green...which is what SerpentZA is highlighting (and people on PDF quickly screaming "liar" for him simply re-reporting it!) ..read the article for yourself:

This is a CLASSIC case of Chinese PDF members calling him a liar even when China's own media is the source of his video. They just love saying he "lies about this and lies about that" as the standard default thread reply.

Read the article ... Article itself says its a particular area of stone pit where no vegetation can be done so they paint it ... Article is also saying that paint is much expensive then plantation ...

Accordingly a one time event is being projected a policy in china of using paint to show as plantation ... This is stupid to accept as it is costly ... There is difference between painting a particular stone hill and painting hills to show it vegetation
