Incidentally, imho, nothing particularly qualifies Type 052D as 'carrier killer' (any more than e.g. Arleigh Burke and its derivatives). Its an AAW destroyer, to serve as carrier escort.

AGEIS ship is AAW and in US case, also ASW, not a carrier killer.

If you want carrier killer, you probably go with another carrier or a sub, not destroyer.
