China issues report on U.S. human rights violations

.
The Covid deaths are not really a human rights violation.

It's not like people were ordered to congregate in areas to get infected.

The issue is really having elderly people (mostly those with no children to take care of them) concentrated in retirement homes/care facilities overseen by mainly low wage workers (who most likely live in dense urban areas which are susceptible to Covid spread) who then shuffle from center to center taking care of people and spreading the virus.

"The home health aides and certified nursing assistants who work in long-term care facilities and private homes are usually paid no more than the minimum wage and given few, if any, benefits."

The elderly not in these places (who had family to take care of them) were far less likely to be a victim.

Covid deaths are absolutely a human rights issue, being in violation of the US's own Declaration of Independence. Covid being poorly handled directly violates the rights of Americans to life (deaths due to the disease), liberty (long term forceful limitations on freedom) and pursuit of happiness (economic downturn due to poor handling of Covid).

WTF? That's like claiming China has been abusing their citizens for hundreds of years by letting them be poor. What complete asinine Chinese logic are you using?

BTW The Declaration Of Independence (yes, it does mention core human rights) had to do with absolute British authoritarian rule (without the people's right of representation). So it really has nothing to do with US Government policies.

BTW The Declaration Of Independence had to do with absolute British rule (without the people's representation) vs self-determination anyway. So it has nothing to do with US Government policies.

And nobody said China had awesome human rights back in the Qing Dynasty and ROC days.

Chinese rightfully regard those times as low human rights eras and today as high human rights.

Simple example: in 1920s Shanghai was the most developed city in China. It was responsible for 50% of China's electricity production and had almost as many KMT offices as Nanjing. Its share of Chinese GDP was almost like Seoul for South Korea. KMT had so many rights on paper, going above and beyond even the US Constitution.

Yet in Shanghai crime and poverty were everywhere. People got shot on the streets, overdosed on drugs or just starved to death. This was Shanghai with 50% of entire China's electricity, imagine everywhere else. People hated the KMT for their incompetence.

Material incompetence is low human rights no matter what.

US disastrous Covid policies are human and administrative blunders, since US always claims China "genocide" millions by taking wrong policies during Mao's time, how come the same government mistakes made by US government are not genocides?
