I applaud to Kishore Mahbubani that he articulated the response so well. His knowledge of history and politics is highly admirable.

What some Europeans countries have done over the last 500 years in colonialism and slave trade was very wrong. They should feel shamed and try to undo evil deed. The countries that were subject to the colonization certainly like to move on from it as they want to focus on the present not the painful past.

However the fact that now western countries turn around and market themselves as guardian of human rights and using it to blackmail other countries is nothing but hypocrites.
