China has to step back If we boycott Chinese products then China will bend before India:Ramdev

India takes us as enemy long time ago, but they still make us as the No.1 trader partner. So don't be fool by them, the just don't have ohter choice.
Let me clear your misconception, India and China have had cultural and economic ties for hundreds of years. We don't consider China as our enemy, at least a majority of us.
We are in awe of how China has been diligently following the blueprint of surpassing the US as the leading power within a hundred years of Independence.

True that India requires capital imports and investments from China, but China too needs access to our markets and resources.

China has been allowed to reach the state she's in without much conflicts and hindrances. Why then, is China hell bent on derailing our growth story? China should realise that the Indian model of growth is quite unlike China's and stop interfering unnecessarily and work with us in a way that both our interests are served.

See, we are not in a client master relationship with China aka Pakistan. Steps will be taken if our interests are affected to our disadvantage, absolutely nothing to do with commerce.

As if cheap Android mobiles of ANY sort are made in India from scratch.

Micromax and other local brands sold in India are majority of what Indians buy (majority are price buyers and not iPhone or Samsung buyers) and those no name cellphones like Micromax are all assembled from Chinese parts (yes all parts meaning display, processor chip, smd components, batteries even micro connectors). Where else are the parts going to come from?

No honestly - I'm really curious if Indian companies make some cellphone parts themselves. To my knowledge Micromax and local Indian cellphone assemblers haven't even invested in SMD Pick and place machines for the circuit boards (like some companies in neighboring Bangladesh even), they import complete boards as well as Chinese-made sub assemblies to assemble quickly into cellphones. A shortcut to profit so to speak. The minimal value addition locally is simply to circumvent local import tariff.

I'd love to be proven wrong however....

Basically, in this thread, you guys are talking about how to boycott Chinese products, and we try to say:"We dont' care,it's your lost." I don't understand what do you mean "China hell bent on derailing your growth story or interfering unnecessarily". It's meanless to argue with the topic we can't agree with each other. In this forum, people just stand for theirs own country.
As for the relationship between Pakistan and China. We call it "All-weather strategic partnership", not a client master relationship. That is just your opinion, not ours.

Aha!

Tencent takes digital ‘red packets’ to India

China’s Tencent is taking hongbao, or red packets, to India — a move akin to exporting Christmas puddings for birthday celebrations in Japan — in an intrepid step to further its global ambitions.

So much for boycott?

Lol
