I disagree, we will see it in our life time but we will need China's help in letting people visit Xinjiang as tourist visitors and see for themselves...in fact, some Pakistani vloggers are popular enough to become a strong voice for China within Pakistan & the Muslim world due to their popularity on the social media (ESPECIALLY lady vloggers like mehr sher & maleeha hashmi for example).

Uyghur issue is just one of the "buttons" that they can push to get you people all work up, and there are countless such buttons. They can even fabricate one in a hurry if they need to, such as in "WMD".

and THAT'S why it'll take our own vloggers to give our people a reality check. the common denominator between your people and my people is the common distrust of the western media. if our own vloggers present their vlogs from Chinese soils stating that it is all lies spewed by the same western media that raised hysteria about the Iraqi WMDs, our masses WILL listen. Right now, they don't realize that this is propaganda spewed by western media and their cronies within China. It'll take one of our own ON China's soil stating that this is all a lie and "here's the proof" (in video form). on TOP of that, if the vlogger is a Pakistani sister, people WILL buy that lock stock n barrel, because they hate "westernized liberals trash" and a Pakistani lady exposing the western media lies can't POSSIBLY be "westernized liberal trash" and being a lady, they'll feel that sense of honor in believing her. strange how our mindset works but that IS the truth.

If you study The Quran carefully, you will fast realize that Islam is one of those few religions in the world (honestly, the ONLY religion in the world) that It actually teaches critical thinking and even cognitive thinking instead of taking everything said and told at face value. And then, if you study the history of Muslims carefully, you will realize that our mindset became the way it did NOT because of the Islamic religion but rather, by blindly following those who claim to be scholars of Islam. you will fast realize that the masses were pulled away from The Holy Quran because these so called scholars did two things:
1. gained the trust of the masses being acting like stand up right practicing teachers of the fait nd
2. convincing the masses that oh hey, the book is too complicated for you, I'll teach you what it says cuz you know, you can "trust" me.
now I'd hate to sound like a conspiracy theorisgt but what does that sound like? manipulation by intelligence agencies. yes, that is a sad fact of our history, that's how sectarianism set into a once largest empire history has ever known and only proper education can replace that. You gave me a much appreciated compliment that not many people critically think like I do. My friend, the way I think is owed 100% to The Holy Quran. many years ago, I honestly thought the same way the rest of us do...but once I chose to part ways with "clergy" or "mullahs" (if you will) and study The Quran on my own, slowly, I changed. It is THE ONE SINGLE BOOK that I diligently study almost every single day, in a way, it GROOMED me to be what I am.

More reliable sources than what you have posted presents a grim picture of Xinjiang. So,I'm inclined not to believe this video.

Chinese received no favouritism and in fact is the most abuse. Turkish are the most protected members here. Here we even have a moderator specialise targeting Chinese members and ban us on the slight of provocation. Turkish members even has moderator protecting members insulting Chinese and most of the time, they can get away with it.

Some points Op has put seems understandable. I myself do not trust what western media says. I have seen the case of WMDs of Iraq, I have seen the case of 9/11, Dr. Afia Siddiqui's case, Afghanistan's case. I am also aware of their beef with Chinese.

The technology of internet was created during World war by American pioneer (Fish! I love Americans) and around 1995 it was opened for public.
