India and Pakistan are doing a really good job of ignoring their people's real needs:

Child stunting and child wasting rates in South Asia are the highest in the world and the nutritional levels of the region reflect the severity of hunger, according to a recently released report on hunger and forced migrations around the world.

Patwarism is a major disease affecting many Pakistani's from the past 35 Years. Now the major cause of it has been discovered and Scientist have said Stunted Growth leads to Patwari Mindset.
People suffering from it are also very reluctant to change the present situation as when PM Imran Khan launched a campaign to counter stunted growth many Patwari's came in defiance and are actively resisting the change.
Well we have to root this disease out of our society and everyone needs to put in their share of work in countering this menace.

Pakistan has had so many martial laws while India enjoyed 71 years of democracy. Pakistan was dragged into two major outside wars once against USSR and the other against Taliban's while India had to only fight us. And you do realize India's population is so much more than Pakistan's. Their 38% of stunted childs don't even come close to our 44%.

So, keeping all these things in mind, one should know that atleast our PM knows these issue and has highlighted it several times. So atleast we know our priorities, where as Indian PM priorities are telling his people to drink tea from making gas out of 'gutter ka pani'.
