CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF VISITS FORWARD POSTS IN COASTAL AREAS, REVIEWS OPERATIONAL READINESS

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi visited Pakistan Navy coastal installations & forward posts along Makran Coast. The Admiral expressed satisfaction over Ops Preparation of Pakistan Navy & reaffirmed that any misadventure shall be thwarted with iron fist. He also met officers & men & appreciated their morale.

During the visit, the Naval Chief was briefed on achievements of Task Force-88 for ensuring maritime security of CPEC/Gwadar Port. Later Chairman China Overseas Ports Holding Company, Mr Zhang Baozhong called on CNS & discussed matters of mutual interest.

Afterwards CNS performed ground breaking of various Ops & Admin projects at Gwadar & Ormara including facilities at Junior Naval Academy Ormara (JNAO). The Admiral said that Pakistan Navy will always contribute towards uplift of coastal areas especially in education & health sectors.
