Kapil Sibal text book scare tactics, BJP government may or may not remain in power. Collegium System is Discriminatory towards OBC SC ST it has to go. Collegium system has resulted in Gang of Brahman judges in judiciary who want to declare Manusmriti as Law book of India.
Kapil Sibal is beneficiary of Collegium system, he gets favorable judgements because of his contacts with judges in higher judiciary. His two sons Amit and Akhil were promoted by Collegium judges to Senior Advocate. Senior Advocate run Higher Judiciary courts. OBC SC ST lawyers are denied senior advocate post by Collegium Brahman Judges even after working for 40 years.
Collegium System came in 1993.

Former Chief Justice of India Justice Ranganath Mishra formed the nine-judge bench to hear the Second Judges Case. Post retirement, Mishra was appointed as the first chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). Later on, he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha.
Mishra headed another commission during the UPA government for examining the claims of Christian and Muslim minorities for inclusion in Scheduled Castes, which shows they remained in the good book of the Congress party.
