Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Nadeem Raza is on official visit to Iraq. CJCSC held meeting in Iraqi Ministry of Defence. CJCSC also visited Iraqi Air Force Head Quarter. Matters pertaining to bilateral cooperation in all fields including defence procurement were discussed.

Joint staff was meant to be mimicking US joint staff but as usually army just took over in pak so it’s not just taking over civilian but also within military

That was how the office of chairman joint chief is designed to function ie rotation policy between the three services.
But the army has established hagamoney over it n in affect cutting its role to ceremonial, where the chairman is usually a junior officer to the army chief.
All in all nothing but a joke.
