Just throwing it out there guys ...
It is quite interesting how this “silent” relationship with the Italians is being cultivated. We have our “western” supplier who unlike other euro suppliers are less keen to give a hoot to South Indian BLA protestors or the like.Just throwing it out there guys ...
You don't get to ask OEM to let your industry into their supply chains unless there's something in it for the OEM. These types of requests and discussions always involve a sale for the OEM, even in 1st world countries.
I suspect there's a fairly hefty deal with Leonardo and/or MBDA Italy on the table. Certainly not Typhoons, but perhaps Kronos-series gap filler radars, CAMM/ER, M-346 LIFTs, AW101, AW149 and/or AW159 helicopters.

I don't think it's just Italy. These Western OEMs are all cross-integrated with one another, and at some level, whatever Italy sells to Pakistan, others benefit. For example, any sale of AgustaWestland helicopters would involve manufacturing jobs for the UK, and the engine contracts, expectedly, would end up with the US.It is quite interesting how this “silent” relationship with the Italians is being cultivated. There's a limit to what the Indians can bother with and, from what I suspect, the Italians are at the fringes and not worth trying to fight over. After all, the Italians can't supply everything -- they'd run into walls too (e.g., they can't get us the MBDA Meteor without French approval, for example).
@Yasser76 @Bilal Khan (Quwa) Pakistan will be in relatively better position against any lobbying if we come out of grey list in FATF. This grey list remains a tool for lobbying effects against Pakistan.
Like i said it is symbolic which effects countries in EU once you remove even the grey list, not many are going to listen to propaganda from news outlets. If you look at the details grey list if not that big a deal, Indian media loves to hype it up but countries like Iceland and Jamaica are on there, has not effected them that much, I would say it is more of a PR thing. Pakistani allies will remain totally supportive, Pakistani enemies will remain against us. Irrespective
I suspect a big advantage of leaving the FATF Grey List is that the Europeans can offer Pakistan a line-of-credit to acquire arms.If you look at the details grey list if not that big a deal, Indian media loves to hype it up but countries like Iceland and Jamaica are on there, has not effected them that much, I would say it is more of a PR thing.
