Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra, has promised to present Neeraj Chopra, India’s ace javelin thrower with the new XUV700. This is being done in honour of Chopra becoming only the second India to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics. It is a celebration indeed to note that Chopra finished first to win a Gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics with an 87.58 meter tally in men’s Javelin final."

Agree. He actually achieved something in a old Olympic sport.
Not the new fangled ones which are devaluing the Olympics.
For too long we have given too much importance to milkha singh who finished 4th. A low standard, subsequently achieved by 12 different Indian teams and individuals.

Depends. Its just a sinecure. To assure a income after retirement.
The government jobs are offered but quite a few are already attached to the army or railways or other public sector units.
Its not important for them.
