Don't fly so low, train pilots to evade IR seeking missile.
Rookies pilot got nervous when MAWS show them a missile approaching they accelerates their planes to out run the missile ( you can't out run the missile) & in the result emit more heat which are fatal against IR missile.

TTP with MANPADS is just SHow shaw... I don't think those MANPADS can even fire.. If they can fire they would have been firing on Cobras which are pounding them in Waziristan

A lot of aircraft have counter-measures like flares/decoys for missiles which can also be employed against basic or earlier-gen MANPADS.

I don.t think that Indians will supply manpads as this would be a serious escalation.

India is the only country using that type of MANPADS in the region & with rented terrorists having that particular type of MANPADS in their possession, it is clear who is helping rented terrorists from Afghanistan.

In this day and age---no intel agy in teir sane minds will supply manpads to terrs to fire at military aircraft---. That will tantamount to a declaration of war.

The terrs can turn around and shoot down civilian aircraft. That will create major problems for the supplier nation.
