if u can ask this, it means u already know the answer and yes, that's how the Chinese go about doing their stuff- buy your own products first before convincing others to do the same.

It will take yrs, if not at least one decade, for the C919 to be inducted. It must take yrs of service in China to convince others. Not only that, those yrs of service must be transparent in terms of operational tempo, maintenance, and reliability. Look at the Boeing 737 Max fiasco for example. In the meantime, Boeing and Airbus will not be idle. Boeing and Airbus, thru third parties, will buy a few C919 and take them apart. What do you think they will find? :enjoy:

total confirmed orders for the C919 to date: 1008

This amount is more than enough to justify the viability of its own production line, probably multiple.

Henceforth, the C919 is here to stay.

Years of convince? I bet you didn't even see the video. State owned airliner takes order from State. C919 will be sell like hotcakes once order is given. There is no need years of conviction. If you didn't know the sixth C919 prototype is almost ready for first flight as promise by timeline of 2021 to delivered if 6 test plane is planned in 2019.

I know u are a sour mode after your US B737 max proves to be an unsafe product and FAA is now garbage. :enjoy:

Congrat China. Believe you can go faster than Boeing and Airbus,to conquer world market, partly because Chinese education and human quality are superior. And Western world understand that, hence the sour mode and bad words.
