i think you are telling much....this game could be run on the following specs.

intel core2 extreme 2.66 ghz
4 gb DDR2 ram
Navidia 9600+ graphics card with 1gb ram
300 gb hard drive
L2 chache memory 4mb
400 to 600w power supply

i think these spec would be enough to run the game perfectly.

.
LOL

300 gb hard drive

Say 10GB (or whatever required) Free space, whatever HDD size doesnt matter. You can run game even on 20GB HDD too as long as you have free space available to install game.

L2 chache memory 4mb

Hmmm AMD CPUs lack L2 cache, still if you see Phenom II is performing good. So generallizing processor on clock speed, L2-L3 cache, FSB etc is not correct, as we are comparing totally differant architectures (AMD/Intel).
Right statement here will be - Any modern Dual core CPU 2.4GHz +

400 to 600w power supply, 1000W or 900W Corasir or Cooler Master Supply

What power supply has to do with game ? its not like power consumption figures are differant for Crysis, COD5 or GRID etc. Decide PSU according to parts you choose for PC. Check ampere on +12v.

I think AMD and ATi are not popular or not properly distributed/marketted in Pakistan. Thats why both posters posted only Intel and Nvidia combo's. AMD is back in game with their Phenom II chips, last 3-4yrs were disaster for them, Intel 'Core' architecture was superior in all aspects. Same with ATi cards, HD 4xxx series pwned Nvidia GTX 2XX series, had to drop prices from 650$ launch price to say 300$ current GTX 280 prices. Though Nvidia still @ top thanks to its beast GTX 295, but HD 5XXX Dx11 cards are abt to launch in few days. Crown will go back to ATi. Nvidia is struggling with yields, have to wait 3 months for their next gen parts.

DDR2 RAM is dirt cheap now, 2GB 800MHz stick sell @ 1k in India. Transcend etc, Corsair XMS series is 1.5k, so 4GB requirement for modern game is no big deal.

and we dont really need Core i7 yet, except GTA IV no game scales with CPU clock/Cores/hyperthreading, just buy AMD Phenom II X2 or any Intel C2D and overclock hell out it on P45 (Intel), 790GX (AMD) chipset mobo. Core i7 is far from mainstream, if you guys encode videos etc buy, worthy for you, otherwise its just bragging factor for noobs.

GPU is king when it comes to gaming, CPU doesnt play critical role, it plays but GPU matters more. Combining high end proccy with low end GPU will get pwned by high end GPU and midrange proccy in gaming.

Any modern, 40-50k rig will handle COD5 on full HD, condition - buy balanced rig, bang for buck parts.

BTW can you plz post famous pakistan tech forums, I want to know pricing there, here it usually sucks, we pay allmost 60 INR for 1 US $. and high end products (say 300$+), this dollar rupee rate increase more, dealers here are very greedy. Indian pricing is similar to Europe, Australia. Nothing in front of Newegg USA :(
