By Elections: a Glimpse of whats in store for for PTI & its Voters

Has anyone checked the video footage of the by elections? I lost the count of the armed thugs of PMLN and PPP with assault weapons and pump action shot guns.
just tells you whats in store when people charged up with Imrans speeches will have to face on the time of the polling when the election time comes.

it was a depressing and sobering site to see.

Polling for by-polls on six National Assembly seats and four seats of provincial assemblies continued while voting on a few polling stations have been stopped after clashes. However, in some areas polling were started late.

Unidentified armed men in Mardan, Badin and Kasoor were also seen firing openly.

Voters in Multan for the two NA seats held protest in a few polling stations after they did not find their names in voter lists. Same incident occurred on polling booth no 182 of chak number seven.

In Qadirpur, PML-N boycotted the election after its polling agent was kicked out from the booth.

In, Multan political activists were openly showing weapons. PML-N candidate claimed rigging in the by-election.

In the Rahimyar Khan, firing incident was reported in the polling booth of 103 of the polling station of NA 195. Clash was also reported between two rival political groups in polling booth number 103 of NA-195. Some 35 polling booth of the area has been declared sensitive.

In Kasur, counting in NA 140 is in progress. In the polling booth of Qika Natha Khan Singh voting was stopped after scuffle between two groups.

After the clashes additional squad of police and rangers have been deployed on the spots to maintain law and order situation.

No political party officially endorse these kinds of acts but nonetheless they bound to happened as its part of our culture (specially KP)...good or bad that's another thing.

Further, I just don't understands the wisdom in PTI's decisions for not contesting the elections...Seriously...as a student of Political science i just can't comprehends its benefits(if any)....the more i dig it the more i found it counter productive for PTI from any angle.

In fact SMQ and JH's wins at this moments will surely boost morales of ordinary worker on the streets which attracts more people to vote for PTI in GE and help persuade more members of PMLN, PPP, ANP and PMLQ to cut and joins bonds with PTI.....but alas...the political wisdom hard to earns...!!

Dear...Resignations was their necessity afterall to joins PTI, But why don't they seeks fresh mendate on PTI plateform once joined??

By not contesting, they by-self vacated thier 'Homes' and invited everyone to occupy easily, No one does this in normal states of mind....does it..??

In case of rigging, both are experienced politicians and parliamentarians...and i'm sure they knows it very well how to defend and exploit that situation politically for PTI benefits, only six months b4 GE, I bet this will turnsout very fruitfull outcomes if ever happened.

Finally and besides these by elections are held on new voters list compiled recently by ECP on the directions of SC.

No they are not! Election commission has yet to finalize the new voter lists, and as per my information they have taken the time till end of march. These by elections are held on same old voters lists.

I can’t give you the link at the moment but I have read it that, New Voter list actually almost complete and will be posted on all ECP offices throughout the country on 1st Mar, 2012. However, Voter Lists for these 10 constituencies which comes under By-Elections were specially completed beforehand…just to comply SC orders for by-elections which were earlier delayed for the same reasons.

Having said that, I might be wrong as their is suspicion..I agree.

these by-elections were based on the current fraudulent voting lists (35m fake voters). the voter lists for the general elections will be quite different - and hopefully different results!
