What's new

Buying court Judges in USA.

So what if its from 2011? The OP is not posting it as breaking news. You guys are being shamefully defensive.

But you're right, it is too late for all the kids who were killed, or whose lives were destroyed by this monster. And if you think him serving 28 years in prison is a shining example of how American justice "works", then you're deluded.

As an American I trust the judiciary, sure you can point to a fringe case from 2008 to mock us and claim the system is broken. I can present conclusive evidence to prove to you the system is working.

But you know the honest to goodness truth is ....................................

I couldn't care less what you think. :agree:

The next Michael Moore documentary is probably not going to go well

If he's guilty of any wrongdoing, then he should be punished. I don't know him personally to have an opinion about his character.

But you seem to be implying that Michael Moore is guilty by association. Is that acceptable in the American justice system?

Really? You have a funny way of showing it, responding to my comments, and being so defensive. Anyway, whatever "evidence" you will show me is conclusive only to you. You can trust your judiciary all you want. It doesn't change my assessment, and that of millions of your own citizens.

I do not believe in debates. Egos get in the way, and people rarely admit they're wrong. So just as you will not convince me that the system is working, I know I will not convince you that it isn't. I'm just sharing my views on this forum. That's all.

Michael Moore usually has good intentions...but he is soooo far to the Liberal Left and so focused on pursuing issues that it blinded him into looking the other way when it came to the sexual predator who funded more than one of his films.

If he did see something and said nothing, and did nothing, because he wanted the money, then he deserves to be punished. But do we know that for a fact? Or are we just assuming that he saw crimes committed by HW just because they worked together?

Weinstein had rumors swirling around him for decades. People looked the other way...especially Michael Moore...the guy who makes documentaries about subjects people don't want to talk about...the irony. He's lucky he didn't get skewered.
