BSF troops foil attack by Pakistani Army's Border Action Team in Poonch.

Breaking news: Press Trust of India(PTI) is reporting that an attack by Border Action Team (BAT) of the Pakistani army was repelled by BSF along Poonch.No casulaties on Indian side.

Pakistani soldiers tried to ambush BSF patrol but fortunately BSF foiled it thanks to Night Vision googles and thermal imagers.

Jammu, Aug 14 (PTI) Amid escalating tensions along the border, the BSF today said it had foiled an attempt by a Pakistani Border Action Team (BAT) to attack a forward post along the Line of Control.

Surveillance equipment detected the Pakistan Army team approaching the post in Krishnagati sub-sector in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir around 2330-2345 hours late last night, a BSF officer said.
