BSF arrests ex-Pakistani army-man from Ramgarh sector of Kashmir

The BSF had also seized two identity cards including one pertaining to his nationality, two Pakistani currency notes of Rs 500 each, a small knife and a paper with’CMA Lahore Cantt’ written on it, from the infiltrator.

Yes because an 'infiltrator', would carry Pakistani identification, and Pakistani currency, which would not only reveal their origin, but also be completely useless in India.

According to the officer, the infiltration bid was carried out with the infiltrators taking the cover of dense fog and thick sarkanda growth. The BSF spotted suspicious movements of 4 to 5 people, yesterday night, inside Pakistan side close to the IB but the BSF troops kept an close eye despite poor visibility in the area.

“In order to have a better observation of the area, BSF troops fired Para illuminating bombs resulting the suspected persons to retreat towards Pakistan territory,” the officer said.

He said after some time, movement of one suspected person was again spotted by the alert jawans close to the International boundary at about 50 meters ahead of fence, moving suspiciously inside Indian territory.

“The alert BSF jawans challenged the intruder but he kept on moving without any heed on which a few precautionary rounds were fired in his direction. However, the intruder escaped unhurt due to the undulating ground in the area,” he said.

So idiotic, the man was clearly panicked by the fact that they were firing and ran. Disgusting how Indians are going around claiming that this elderly man was some kind of spy.

Did you even read the post?

Officials had confirmed that the intruder identified as Mohammad Baksh, son of Firozdin of village Gandiyal in Sialkot district, had admitted to be a retired member of the Pakistan army.

infiltration bid”, a BSF officer said.

According to the officer, the infiltration bid was carried out with the infiltrators taking the cover of dense fog and thick sarkanda growth.

Why use this terminology? Why not say it like it is: 'Retired Pakistan Army member accidentally strays over the border'

How the hell is this "infiltration"? "Infiltration" implies that there is some malicious intent to his actions, which is clearly not the case here.

No, they wouldn't, its basic knowledge to not give away any information that could expose your origin. If this is some kind of ISI plot or whatever, then they definitely wouldn't have sent some old guy with normal items someone would have on their person. I always leave home with my drivers license, does that make me a spy?

Come on guys...for a moment, Kulbhusan is a spy...Do you think they person who is captured in India is not a spy rather just a civilian?...Man India Pakistan border is so heavily guarded, how can any adult person just come inside the territory without any prior knowledge....So let us accept the reality, both nation send spy to each other and the chill out..

.
No you don't...here is the list of Indian consulates in AF...I see 5 listed there...please fill in the rest so that people who want to come to India can use those facilities as well...and who know after serving ordinary people those freaking terror consulates might have a change of heart...

https://india.visahq.com/embassy/afghanistan/

So all you have to give me is statements...so either MEA personally told you that we have 14 consulates in AF or you have no proof of it and just blabbering a stupid narrative that friends from Pakistan throw at us without checking authenticity of claims...

Did you even read the post?
i did..however with due respect your reasoning is very naive...let me show you...

Why use this terminology? Why not say it like it is: 'Retired Pakistan Army member accidentally strays over the border'
bcoz it was not written on his face...right?? so they have to investigate and then claim if he was innocent or not...until then he is nothing but a possible infiltrator who is potentially dangerous...now be fair...this is a route that is used for infiltration...they know nothing about him so rule of the game is that you have to prove beyond doubt that you are innocent...now complement it by the fact that we have almost 2 months of very hot LOC so i am glad that BSF folks were not trigger happy as it is clear that man was running frantically...so they could have easily thought of him as a potential terrorist who is trying to sneak in...

How the hell is this "infiltration"? "Infiltration" implies that there is some malicious intent to his actions, which is clearly not the case here.
As explained above he is an infiltrator until proven innocent...when you cross and move to opposite side irrespective of the intent you are an infiltrator/potential danger...once you are cleared you would be returned back or whatever protocol is in place...b/w i still ask who said he was a spy??

It was sarcastic remark....seems like Kulbhushan Yadav either was not aware of this fact or erred....as he was certainly carrying his Indian passport...
