BSF a medieval force/ Lacks humanity and civility

Are we forgetting something that happened in Sialkot under the watchful eyes of you professional police force.?
First clean your own backyard ji..then you can point fingers at others.

@BD members:

I asked for a neutral source confirming that it was the BSF who stabbed and not any others.
But still no one gave a credible link.Only anonymous sources. Duh.

Ok so you want the confession of a BSF guy? Something like yes I killed a human being? Funny dude:rofl:

National news papers like The daily star wouldn't want to name the source obviously for security reasons..

NOP we are not forgetting neither we are like bhartis who are in denial mode. The thread about sialkot murders was posted by a Pakistani and participated by Pakistani members and NO one acted like Indians who are always clinging to straws. This thread is about BSF terrorism against human so better stick to it and do not try face-saving denial mode bringing Sialkot here.

Bangladeshi members please bring that stabbed Bangladeshi or his dead body as a proof to bhartis here.

:lol: yeh the sacred animal can fly so might reach the border by flying.

On the other hand the question remained is BSF an untrained, street gangster group who go on stabbing. Is it professionalism ?

Right on the money Jana Ji. The motive of the article is to analyze the background of the BSF and as a whole the Indian Society.

Now lets put forward this news article and see how our Indian counter part react to it..

b. Arbitrary arrest, illegal detention and torture
Arbitrary arrest, illegal detention and torture were also reported. On the morning of 20 May 2006, BSF personnel allegedly picked up a 10-year-old boy identified as Nazimul Sheikh, son of Nasif Sheikh, a farmer, while he was returning from school and beat him up at their camp at Chapra in Nadia district. The villagers found the boy in an unconscious state in a bush off a road 150 km from Calcutta on the evening of 20 May 2006. The boy, who was a student of Class V, had to be admitted to Chapra block hospital and later shifted to Shaktinagar Hospital after his condition deteriorated. Although Nazimul Sheikh was carrying schoolbooks, the BSF officials claimed that the boy was picked up mistaking him to be son of a cattle smuggler, who was part of a gang of smugglers from whom the BSF personnel had seized a number of cattle. The doctors at Shaktinagar hospital reportedly stated that Nazimul Sheikh suffered both internal and external injuries and his condition was critical

BSF picked up a 10 years old child, beat him up and left him unconcious. The BSF claims that he was mistakenly picked up as the son of some smuggler. Now the funny part is whether a civilized society could beat up a 10 years old child for the crime his father committed (allegedly ofcourse).
The Indian members reaction to this very thread only reflect the current Indian society which supports this kind of medieval barbaric treatment and BSF is part of that who raised up this way.

It's funny when you Iajdani pretend to be anti Bharati...Nice try.. :tdown:

Why isn't your government broadcast this in electronic media? Almost all BSF barbaric action goes unnoticed in BD media. Is la-Hasina's fear that people will hate her masters. Hence, she can not sell Bd to Bharati no more:coffee:

I am not anti to anything. So peace.
The news already reported on the RAW sponsored newspaper.:police:

If indeed there has been an incident as described by the Daily star in Bangladesh,then a proper investigation must be carried out.The issue has to be raised by the BDR,as the victim concerned is a Bangladeshi,so the accusing party should be the BDR.

So far, no credible sources can be established.We just cannot accuse anybody without credible sources and proof.There is no point in denying the fact that the BSF has applied brute force in the past to control the almost unending attempts of smuggling and illegal immigration through the porous border region.But we just cannot accuse BSF of committing a crime based on some other crime.

It is good for Iajdani to bring the matter to our attention. I will closely follow the matter.I have written letters in the past about atrocities.If indeed there is some truth in the accusation,then I will write about it.

India is a leading power in the South Asian region,and powers come with responsibilities.We just cannot act in an irresponsible manner.I expect the BD counterpart will do the same...

I am not anti to anything. So peace.
The news already reported on the RAW sponsored newspaper.:police:

any raw would sponcer a news paper to tarnish india's name......very intelligent thinking,
the very fact that it is not reported by your govt says that that incident never happened or that it is some twisted news- and probably sponcered by some one who actually wants to tarnish india's name...like your opposition party,terrorist groups etc......

I am not anti to anything. So peace.
The news already reported on the RAW sponsored newspaper.:police:

It is better for all of us if we clear our mind off the prejudices before we start talking.Otherwise we will keep on playing the blame game till eternity.

RAW does not really sponsor any newspaper.If you believe otherwise,then I guess it would not be wrong for me to ask you for some proofs.

You cal urself a journalist but doesnt act like one?????? BSF terrorism? My My what do u expect from a border patrol, dance with the smugglers?
Dragging a argument based on a news paper report, well it is a courtesy that U provide a neutral source when U are asked. If U cant find one then.................

BSF stabs 1, abducts 2 in Benapole

2010-08-28__BSF.2.jpg

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) stabbed a Bangladeshi cattle trader and abducted two others from Putkhali frontier of Benapole early Saturday.

The injured was identified as Habib, son of Abul Morol of Putkhali village while the identities of the abductees could not be known immediately, reports our Benapole correspondent.

BSF troops of Angrail camp caught the three while they were crossing the border with cattle and stabbed Habib indiscriminately, a BDR official told The Daily Star seeking anonymity as he was not authorised to talk to media.

They left the place along with the two other cattle traders, leaving Habib on the spot, suspecting him dead, the official added.

Injured Habib however managed to reach his village home and local people admitted him to Jessore 200-bed Hospital.
BSF stabs 1, abducts 2 in Benapole

Where the report says that BSF is a 'medieval' force?? Poor people from BD tries to infiltrate into India. It's BSF's job to shoot them but if they stabs them its illegal.

While corrupted BDR even happy to kill their chief and army officials for money left alone normal BD people.

The point is nobody is disputing BSF's right to enforce border rules. But what we are discussing here is the code of conduct. We know India still a thrid world clay footed country that does not mean that they cant educate their soldiers when they are spending billions in hardware. When the real fight comes then I am not sure how usefull will be those hardware if they did not know how to use them rationally..

What Code of conduct are we talking of ? The world saw 1st hand the professionalism the BDR displayed when they killed their officers and threw them in gutters.

On the point of why are these gents not stopped from buying cattle, there is no way for the local police to know if the lungi clad buyer is from Assam, WB or BD - they all look the same.This is the holy month now & sales will climb and so will such such activities.
Connivance of local cops also cannot be rules out.

Thats because it happened right in the heart of Pakistan.If it had happened in some unmarked border village you guys would have conviniently remarrked the same thing the BD ppl are saying now.

Bangladeshi members please bring that stabbed Bangladeshi or his dead body as a proof to bhartis here.

Until a credible/neutral source is given I believe it is the work of his smuggler cohorts or due to the medieval,corrupt BDR for not bribing them.:wave:

Thanks to one of my PDF friend who put forward this case.

killing of a Scheduled Caste youth by stabbing while in BSF custody, nexus with police
*To
30 June 2010*

*Principal Secretary (Home)*

*Government of West Bengal*

*Writers’ Buildings*

*Kolkata - 1*

* *

*Sir*

* *

*I am attaching a through fact finding report of custodial killing herewith.
The report itself self explanatory and confirmative about ongoing killings
of Indian citizens in Indo- Bangladesh bordering area of West Bengal by
posted Border Security Force (BSF) personnel.*

* *

*In this particular case Sumanta Mondal, a young boy belonged to bellow
poverty category from Schedule Caste community was brutally murdered by
under mentioned BSF personnel. Though, the personnel in connivance with
local police trying to establish the killing as an encounter death but our
fact finding report and doctors who examined the body established the fact
that Sumanta was heinously killed by the personnel while he was in custody
of the said BSF personnel. This barbaric act was a cold blooded murder
without having minimum respect for human lives. It draw another conclusion
that major section of the posted BSF personnel are involved with illegal
cross border smuggling of goods and persons and while the truth come up to
public domain, they are killing indiscriminately with an intention to
destroy the evidences of their unholy nexus with kingpins of smuggling.*

* *

*In this case no judicial magistrate conducted inquest over the body as
mandatory for any custodial death according to section 176A of Criminal
Procedure Code neither directives/ provisions of National Human Rights
Commission’s (NHRC) guidelines were maintained.***

* *

*As you are aware that in such cases a criminal case under section 302 of
Indian Penal Code should be initiated against the involved personnel as
directive given by NHRC and the case should be investigated by CID. So, in
this case we demand a specific criminal case to be registered against the
perpetrating BSF officials and the case should be investigated by CID. We
also demand for complete protection of family and other corroborative
witnesses of the incident and financial compensation for the deceased’s
family.*

* *

*Hope by measuring the gravity of the incident you will take appropriate
action in accordance to the duty and responsibilities rested upon you.*

*Name of the perpetrators** – 1) Mr. Sailesh Kumar; Constable (CT No.
00722731) 2) Mr. Ramji Pandey; Inspector and Three other on duty Border
Security Force (BSF) Personnel (name unknown) all attached with 151
Battalion of BSF- B Company posted at Harudanga Out Post (OP) no. VIII*

* *

*Place of Incident**: adjacent to Harudanga out post no. VIII*

* *

*Date and time of the incident**: 16.06.2010 at about 7.00 pm (as reported
by the villagers)*

* *

*Case Detail*

* *

*On the fateful day Sumanta and his three companions tried to smuggle out
buffalos from the said point. It was raining heavily at that time. The
youths tried to take advantage of the situation. Two of his companions
accomplish their mission, another returned back but Sumanta was caught by
the said BSF personnel. It was reported in a Bangla daily that BSF
‘approved’ 20 buffalos to be smuggled but ‘offenders’ tried for 50.
Ill-fated Sumanto belonged to a family listed in Bellow Poverty category
. *

* *

*After taking him into their custody, the said perpetrators killed him. Mr.
Nilanjan Roy; Sub Inspector of Raninagar police station reached at the place
of occurrence and brought the body by a BSF vehicle with registration number
HR- 39A 7419 to Godhanpara Primary Health Center at around 10.30 pm same
date. Five BSF personnel were in the vehicle, while the body was brought to
the said Primary Health Center. At the Health Center, Medical Officer, Dr.
Sabyasachi Chakroborty examined the body and at about 11.15 pm informed the
persons present at the Health Center that Sumanta died at least 8-10 hours
back. He also examined the constable Sailesh Kumar and found no injury in
his body, as reported, though Sailesh complained about pain in his body. BSF
corroborated that Sumanto died due to firing from Sailesh Kumar’s service
riffle and thereafter filed a criminal case against the deceased as
Raninagar PS Case No. 328/10 dated 17.06.2010, under sections
147/148/149/186/188/353/307/379/411 of Indian Penal Code and 12 of PP Act.
>From Godhanpara Primary Health Center body was sent to Raninagar police
station.*

* *

*At about 12 midnight, Mr. Biplab Chandra De; Circle Inspector of Domkal
made inquest over the body at Raninagar police station while the body was
rested on the said BSF vehicle. At 12.45 am on 17.06.2010, Mr. Arunabh Das;
Block Development Officer of Raninagar Block- 2 made inquest report at the
same place therefore at the top of BSF vehicle.*

* *

*The assembled crowd was skeptical about the injury mark in the chest of the
deceased as they were not convinced that it was due to bullet firing as
narrated by the BSF officials. While the Company Commander was asked about
the same and entry and exit wounds, he replied as the bullet was fired from
an Insus Riffle from a close proximity, so the bullet got stuck inside the
body, though the statement itself has no rationale. Dr. Sabyasachi
Chakroborty again visited Raninagar police station at about 1.30 pm for
reexamine the body, especially the back of the body, and after not finding
any exit wound, had a discussion with Mr. Ramji Pandey, the Company
Commander. The nature and size of the injury mark was quite abnormal in
respect to bullet injury. Mr. Pandey tried to satisfy the doctor by saying
it was from Insus riffle and close proximity and it was stuck inside. But
the abnormally large wound made the said doctor dissatisfied with Pandey’s
logic. The Circle Inspector of Domkal, Mr. Biplab Dey echoed Mr. Pandey’s
observation and directed Mr. Nilanjan Roy to write down for seizure of the
bullet which was supposedly inside the body.*

* *

*At around 2.15 pm on 17.06.2010 the body was sent for Post Mortem
Examination (PME) to Lalbagh Sub Divisional Hospital, again by using the
same BSF vehicle. The on duty doctor deputed for PME refused to do the same
at the Lalbagh SD Hospital, because police in their forwarding note
mentioned that death was due to firing but he opined differently and as the
hospital don’t have forensic facilities he referred Baharampur New General
Hospital (police morgue) for PME. *

* *

*The body was lying at the Baharampur New General Hospital till next day
evening, at around 5.00 pm on 18.06.2010, the doctor deputed for PME; Dr.
Gourishankar Das came out of the morgue and told the relatives he did not
performed PME over Sumanta’s body. While the relatives asked for the reason,
he said death was not due to bullet injury which was contradictory to
forwarding report of police and it seems to be a complex case, so the PME
would be done at Burdwan Medical College which has proper facilities with
forensic department to ascertain the cause of death and weapon used. The
investigating officer of the case Mr. Nilanjan Roy; SI, was present at the
place. While he was asked about the reason of death, he replied that could
be determined after PME. The body was sent to Burdwan Medical College
Hospital on the same day but appallingly, PME was not done at Burdwan
Medical College and Hospital till 20.06.2010. At last it was done at 1.15 pm
on 20.06.2010 by Dr. Debashis Sarkar. As reported Dr. Sarkar told Mr.
Jagabandhu Mondal; uncle of the deceased, who was present at Burdwan Medical
College and Hospital, that Sumanta was not died due to bullet injury instead
he was killed with the help of dagger or spear like weapon
. To ascertain the
reason of death some portion of corpse has been sent to Kolkata for further
examination. *

* *
*The body was cremated at Khagra crematory in Murshidabad on 20.06.2010.*

Stick to the topic... BDR did kill their superiors same way Indhira Gandhi killed by her body guard. That is one side of the story the another side is All the BDR reported back to the authority knowing that they will face death penalty and rightly so. Open trial is going on. At least something good was taught to them.

1 killed as BSF cuts tendons

A Bangladeshi cattle trader died as Indian Border Security Force (BSF) cut off the tendons of his hands and legs along Monohorpur border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Saidur Rahman 18, son of Azahar Ali of Dakatpara village in the upazila, reports our Chapainawabganj correspondent.

Major Nazrul Islam, operation officer of 39 Rifles Battalion said, BSF troops of Nimtita camp in Maldah caught Saidur when he was crossing the border and beat him up mercilessly.

They also cut off the tendons of his hands and legs and threw him into the river Padma.

Local people found Saidur floating in the river at about 1:30pm. The doctors declared him dead after he was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Informed by locals, BDR sent a protest letter to its Indian counterpart and asked BSF for a flag meeting.

The meeting was held Sunday afternoon on Masudpur frontier where BDR protested such incidents of killing by the Indian border guards.

Earlier, BSF of same camp caught and tortured another Bangladeshi cattle trader Nurul Islam on Raghunathpur frontier in Shibganj upazila on August 31 and also threw him into the river Padma.

Locals rescued him from Padma at night and rushed him to RMCH, said BDR officials
