But so far on this thread all I have seen is blind hatred for the west, and pointless sycophancy towards Russia by Pakistanis, many themselves living abroad in the west.

Hypocritical behaviour at its finest. No wonder there is no respect for the green passport. Churlish uncouth behaviour and lack of morality and integrity leads to being branded a disgrace.

Imagine having never stepped foot in Russia and trying to defend its abhorrent actions in Ukraine.

I’m happy for them to say x is better than y, but this is a defence forum and discussions are meant to be objective not subjective nonsense.

Furthermore the blatant racism by many members on this thread against overseas Pakistanis is quite frankly sickening.

I’ve seen this type of negative projection before on social media, mainly from neerdowells who get a kick out of ridiculing others when they have nothing better to contribute themselves.

And then one wonders why there is so much negative air about Pakistan. This is why.

All the British bashing pro-putin lost sheep need to be reminded that Britain would only ever fight Russia as part of the NATO alliance, and thus, its military strength must be considered in that context.

Among the European countries of NATO, at least France, Turkey, Poland and Greece have stronger armies than Britain. I'm not sure if the Bulgarian army is stronger than the British.

What is your benchmark for “strength”? Are you looking at standing army strength or equipment and fighting prowess?

As for personnel combat effectiveness, the combat effectiveness of British soldiers is at the same level as their food.
We have seen British soldiers in the Korean War and the purple quartz incident. They are far inferior to the Turks. Their fighting spirit and ability are at the low level among the soldiers of 24 countries in the United Nations army in the Korean War.
Among the UN troops in the Korean War, the best soldiers came from the United States, followed by Turkey. About Belgium and Canada, the soldiers were almost the same as those from South Korea. As for the British, they are about the same level as the Thai army.

In Iraq war though British soldiers performed better than US soldiers on ground. But still they don't match a Russian battle hardened soldiers. Specially the chechens.
