BRITAIN'S rudest policewoman has been sacked for farting and using the C-word on duty.

Det Con Claire Fitzpatrick, 44, swore repeatedly and asked a junior officer if he wanted an affair with a "fatter, ugly, older woman".

She admitted using foul language, but said it was part of "a culture of banter" at the station.

And she claimed officers nicknamed her after American comedy actress Melissa McCarthy.

She also admitted breaking wind at Bedwas police station in Caerphilly, south Wales, but said "it wasn't deliberately".

The mother-of-two, who was working as a temporary sergeant, added: "I would joke about it.

"Sometimes I would speak like the character Borat, or use a silly voice to say: 'Rather out than in.'" She asked another female officer if she "had any cream for thrush" while inside the packed station.

The Gwent Police officer was accused of 25 counts of inappropriate behaviour, amounting to gross misconduct.

She has now been dismissed from the force, where she had worked for 22 years, after a disciplinary hearing.

The panel in Cwmbran heard she once arrested a motorist saying: "You're driving like a c***." Colleagues said she had a "unique sense of humour", and was "crude with her comments".

Ms Fitzpatrick admitted using bad language but denied saying it in a demeaning way.

She said: "When you read these allegations you hang your head in embarrassment and shame. You read that and you almost gasp and go: 'Who is this individual?' "Having hit this position that I'm in has made me realise how much I need to change. How much I need to be a better person."

Chief Constable Julian Williams said: "I expect all of our officers to act with integrity, fairness and respect at all times and conduct themselves professionally in all environments. "We want the public to have the confidence to trust the police."

I don't understand why one needs to use F-words to communicate. Such usage has been commonized by American films and music groups mainly.

Then all non-Anglo cultures need to remove their part of swearing vocabulary.

I have never used swearing, except for things like "Bloody hell".

i hope you dont stain your white socks Basra
