No innovation can self-sustain long being stuck in an environment sealed off from outside world by the great firewall and saturated with ubiquitous government interventions, innovations and creativities ain't similar to extravagant infra projects like bridges, dams, highrises which CCP is greatly good at given the pool of labors unconditionally at its disposal, there's no way that innovative stuff can sprout in a sustainable fashion in a sealed off lagoon after the gradual withdrawal of foreign tech supportTime to create an attractive alternative to both Apple and Google closed markets.
Chinese people are intelligent and resilient, I am sure something good will come out of this.
Yo must be pretty naïve if you think this is the case. The point is all governments spy including the CIA, but the real reason they don't want Huawei is because we actually offer the world products which CIA cannot hack into.Trump doesn’t want Europe to use Huawei in their communications networks because the Chinese government could order them to spy. Huawei says that’s ridiculous and they would never be made to spy by anyone. Trump tries to tell Europe that it wouldn’t take much for China to twist Huawei’s arm to do their bidding. Huawei says they’ll sign a document saying they won’t spy. Europe says that sounds like a good enough safety measure. Trump shows Europe he can easily twist Google’s arm and make them do something completely outlandish that they’d never do on their own...so how can Europe expect China not to be able to do the same to Huawei.
Trump thinks they are being naive to the cold realities of the world and hopes this will wake them up. ...and no he doesn’t want them to use US systems either. He wants European companies to do it.
that is very tough.
