Boy, 15, 'strangled mother to death after argument about a D grade'

.
Height of stupidity . Don't know what punishment he will get because he is only 15 but this regret that he has killed his mother would stay with him for rest of his life

Parent should take it easy if child is not getting grades a per their expectation . Grade is not everything and you cannot motivate children to get better results by insulting him

I don't know what is actual story or if this killing was just on grades arguments but

Children between 10 and 17 can be arrested and taken to court if they commit a crime.

They are treated differently from adults and are:

  • dealt with by youth courts
  • given different sentences
  • sent to special secure centres for young people, not adult prisons

after some brutal rapes in which minors were involved ,indian laws were changed in case of murder and rapes by minors .now they are not treated as minor if they are brutal and excessive violent in such cases .

Since their names and faces are public, they will be likely treated as adults.
